Lives in Tallahassee, and enjoys coming down to St George Island 90 minutes away. Had always wanted a place on the island, and loves bringing her teens down for body surfing, kayaking and eating seafood. Favorite early morning activity: riding bikes down into the state park at the end of the island and watching the early light change over the sea oats and water.

Bay’s Window was amazing!! I can’t imagine a more relaxing vacation spot. The top floor with its open kitchen and large living room is the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring/ fishing / beachcombing. I loved the convenient walking distance from restaurants/ beech/ stores, and the relaxing view of the bay from the top deck (which goes wonderfully with a cup of coffee in the morning). I would highly recommend this house and hope to stay there again soon.
Owner response:Thank you for your kind words, and hope you do come back down soon!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We enjoyed our stay at the Bay's Window at St. George Island. It was a great size to bring family and had plenty of room. St. George Island Vacation Properties made check in and out easy and made the location easy to find. We brought our own bikes and explored the island. We ate at many of the restaurants in the area and later found the little country store that was just one block over to have many great things to cook. Location was great and was centrally located on the island. We strolled out to the pier on the bay side and the beach was just two blocks over on the other. Great place to watch the sunset. Only draw back was mosquitoes in the evening. Just remember to bring bug spray or wipes and you will fine. -"

We had a wonderful 4 day weekend at Bay's Window. We arrived late, but we called the customer service number and received our keys easily. Bay's Window is a beautiful new home. Everything was extremely clean and well furnished, including the kitchen. I really enjoyed having the 2 screened-in porches because my children were allowed to play outside without losing toys over the edge. We spent most of our time at the beach, which is only 2 blocks away. It was really nice having an outdoor shower when we returned in the evenings. Bay's Window was like a home away from home and we look forward to returning soon. -"

-"IT WAS WONDERFUL!" We had never been to St. George Island. We soon found it to be our favorite vacation spot. It is a very beautiful and ,most important, relaxing vacation spot. We loved the fact that it is not a comerciallized vacation spot. We loved the house. It had only been built 2 months before we stayed. We found nothing wrong with the house. It is not beach front, but the beach is just a walk away. I would stay in the same house again. It is less expensive to stay in a house that is not beach front and totally worth the walk to the beautiful beaches. We also took a boat tour to some little islands around St. George. I would suggest everyone to do that. We would most certainly come back to St. George Island -"Wonderful Weekend"
