"Aunt Mary's" vacation home is located in historic St.Ignace in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula. Founded in 1671, St. Ignace is Michigan's second oldest city, and offers visitors a chance to get away from it all and enjoy life at a slower pace.

Aunt Mary's is a two-bedroom, two-bath, fully equipped home overlooking St. Ignace's harbor and lighthouse and historic Mackinac Island. Pull up a chair on the waterfront deck to sit and watch the Mackinac Island ferry boats, pleasure boats, and 1,000-foot-long Great Lakes freighters ply the deep blue waters of the Straits of Mackinac.

Downtown is a short five-minute walk along the beach and boardwalk, where guests will find gift shops, the Fort du Buade Museum, and a variety of restaurants offering everything from pizza to homemade soups to a local favorite - whitefish - caught in the cool, fresh waters of the Straits of Mackinac. Be sure to try it!

Two queen-sized beds will sleep four comfortably, and the full-size kitchen allows the option of preparing meals at home and eating in. Just bring your food!

If you are traveling with additional couples or family members or having a girls' weekend, inquire about Aunt Mary's upstairs two-bedroom apartment (additional fee). This apartment will only be rented to couples or groups traveling together.
