This place was referred to me by a friend after her stay earlier this year. I am so glad I listed to her because it was worth every dollar spent. I needed a nice, quiet place to relax and this was exactly what I was looking for. I especially enjoyed sipping wine on my private balcony looking over st. thomas :) If you stay here I would definitely advise you to rent a car. Hope this helps.

We stayed here back in November and had an amazing time! We especially loved the pool, the BBQ, and ofcourse the spectacular view! Would definitely recommend.

Stayed at Sunset Gardens in St. Thomas, on my way to Tortola to my friend's wedding. I travel a lot and I usual stay in larger hotels or resorts, but from now on I will look more often for guest houses and B&B, as my stay with them was truly great. Sunset Gardens had really great surroundings and an AMAZING View. The rooms are also very clean and comfortable, which met all my needs. It is an incredible value in addition to it being so serene. Taking the ferry to Tortola I bought a return ticket but would not recommend doing this because on the way back I could not use the same ferry company and tickets are only valid per company. Hope it this helps!

Our family stayed here the last week of May 2009 while visiting St. Thomas, and all we can say is that it was the best part of our USVI part of the trip. Beautiful views, sparkling pool, and clean spacious rooms with full kitchens (so we didnt have to eat out every single meal!). the place is nothing short of exquisite and just incredible sitting on top of a mountain overlooking st. john and st. croix. We especially enjoyed the amount of green around us as we were always surrounded by beautiful tropical flowers and plants there. We will definitley be coming back here for sure next time we're in St. Thomas!

I was doing some seasonal work in St Thomas and was looking for a clean, private, inexpensive place to stay. Found Sunset Gardens suites through Homeaway's website. I was extremely satisfied; it was exactly what I wanted. I sat on my private patio in the evening after work, had a cocktail, watched the seaplane landed and took off, watched the cruise ships leaving for their next destination and even more special - watched the sun went down on another beautiful day in paradise. It was worth every penny. There is a pool, housekeeping service if needed, Wifi internet, Cable TV, ample of parking and a spectacular view. Conveniently located, close to almost everything - downtown Charlotte Amalie, the airport, Crown Bay Marina, great restaurant and shopping. I will definitely stay at Sunset Gardens again on my next trip to St Thomas and would certainly recommend it to others.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
