The Nut House was great! Had a fully stocked kitchen, decorated beautifully and even had a little bowl of M&M's which made it a nice treat. The hot tub was great after venturing around the area and doing some hiking. This was definitely as comfortable as being at home.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+.

We absolutely loved staying at the "Nuthouse" during our recent trip to NC. I took my son and his friend to your guesthouse for 5 days of fishing and relaxing. We had plenty of both. The boys loved the hot tub ,exploring in the woods around the house, and the outdoor firepit. We enjoyed making smores and looking at the stars! I really enjoyed the screened in porch. It was a great place to relax and read a book. You have a very homey and cozy place. I would definitely recommend your place to all my friends.

The Nuthouse was a great spot for enjoying the mountains. Our five-person and one-dog crew was very comfortable, with fully-stocked house, great hanging-out porch, HOT TUB, at a secluded spot on a hill in the mountains. Very close to Dupont State Forest (~5 min drive), and not too far from Pisgah (~15 min drive); near great mountain biking trails, hiking, and of course, waterfalls of Dupont. The owner was very helpful on getting us out-of-towners information about the area. Thank you for a great stay! Next time we'll bring smores stuff to enjoy the outdoor fire pit. :)
