9 year old Dutch colonial on quiet gravel street that sits 150 feet from beach down gravel road. This house has an open floor plan below with a table that will sit 12 people.
The house has 4 bedrooms and will comfortably sleep 8 adults, 10-12 if you are packing in kids too.
We have been on VRBO for 5 years with many happy customers.
The four bedrooms are quiet, upstairs and allow for privacy. We have an outdoor shower for cleaning off little kids and dogs.
The house is mid-beach of the most beautiful beach in the history of the earth. The beach stretches for more than 5 miles in total length and 300 yards wide.
We have a full kitchen with dishwasher and concrete countertops. It is easy to clean and maintain. We have prepared many, many gormet's meals here and a large assortment of pans, knives, utensils, pots, bowls awates you.
We have drip coffee machine and a Starbucks Barista espresso machine.
The living room has two couches and 2 swivel chairs. It is ideal for cards, talking and sitting by the large gas fireplace. Your dogs are okay as long as they are showered off with the heated shower outside.
We have a large, Gas fireplace that makes the whole house warm. The floors are radiant heat.
We just installed 2/2010 a 42" flat panel TV with basic cable. Of course high speed internet.
The upstairs bedrooms are large, 200 sqaure feet each. The bed arrangement: 1: Queen. 2: Queen. 3: full, full 4: twin, twin.
We built this home with large family gatherings in mind especially including kids of all ages as that is our family. We hosted my grandfathers 90th birthday here-probably 20 people for dinner with some of the Guest staying at the Tolovana inn, 500 feet away.
A Grocery store and bakery (including espresso and pastries, breads) is 1/4 mile walk. It takes 5 minutes to drive to Seaside for a LARGE Safeway Grocery store with great seafood, fresh fruit and large assortment of produce.
The location of our house is in the middle of the big beach that is south of Haystack rock. It is a 1 mile walk to Haystack and 1.5 mile walk to town on the beach. Silver Point is 1.5 miles to the south and equally interesting.

- Sand Castle making, razor clam digging, put your bum in the sand and start reading, let the kids jump for joy kite flying, little soccer ball kicking, all day beach combing! This is arguably the best beach in the world. We have birds, waves, dunes, castles even knights and dragons. Watch the waves absolutely pound the sand in the winter. Curl up in front of a big gas fireplace and do Jig Saw puzzles while the storm rages outside (in the winter).

Why the Owner Chose Cannon Beach
Cannon Beach is an amazing place Where the mountains and forests reach all the way to the sand and pounding oceans. The sand is white and fine and comes from the Mighty Columbia. The town is adorable and full of art shops and cute boutiques. Nothing in the city is more than 2 stories high and must be sided in shingles.

Our 1st annual family girl getaway was wonderful and the beach house was a dream! Perfectly situated with wonderful amenities: great seating, large table for feast & games, well-equipped kitchen, great internet access (we are all addicted to Pinterest...). We enjoyed long walks on the beach, bonfires & marshmallows, the cute town of Cannon Beach, hiking around Ecola & crabbing at the Jetty Fishery on Nehalem Bay...we had 2 glorious days of sunshine and 2 rainy days which gave us the excuse to cozy up inside! We range in age from 25 to 63, & came from MD, TX, OK, CO, WA & OR and the 8 of us had the best trip ever! Thank you to Eric for being a gracious & informative host!!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, pet owners, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

The house was very comfortable, clean, and maintained. It is tastefully decorated and well appointed. No 'cabin' furniture here! There were many unexpected extras & updates not shown in current photos which made our trip a breeze. Home owner was responsive & helpful when I had questions, very thoughtful and good to work with. We had 4 adults, 3 small children, and a pooch in our party and there was plenty of room to stretch out. We enjoyed the front porch for a meal or two, despite that the dining table fit us and a feast. Since the weather was nice we spent nearly all day everyday at the beach and didn't get to town much (though Cannon Beach is a real gem and worth a visit). Did make the farmers market & Doogers, recommend them both! Thanks for a wonderful visit!
