Our mews house is a beautiful architect designed family home in Notting Hill . This is very much a loved home full of character and interesting artifacts from around the world and is light, airy and comfortable. (The house has very high ceilings which is uncommon for a mews house) ,a newly refurbished property over three floors (2640 square feet) with all the facilities one could wish for. The house is in a safe and quiet conservation area in a private, gated, cobbled mews, a convenient seven minute walk to the bustling Portobello Road where the famous Portobello Antiques Market takes place on Saturdays, the daily open air market where you can buy fresh flowers and food, and plenty of great restaurants and cafés.
Westfield shopping mall (Europe's largest) and Shepherd's Bush Central Line station is 5 minutes away.
Ladbroke Grove Underground station is only 7 minutes walk, and there’s a frequent bus service within a 2 minute walk that takes you to Oxford Street and the West End, (London’s theater district). Of course, we have a local taxi company that can take you anywhere at the drop of a hat!
A nearby bus service will take you to the famous City of Oxford in only one hour.
The ground floor level of the house has an oak-floored open living, dining and kitchen space with a Pantry and Utility / Laundry room. Under-floor heating throughout and a wood burning stove make it warm and inviting. It has a well-equipped hi spec kitchen with a professional range cooker, American style fridge/freezer (with ice maker) and separate wine fridge. The double height dining area has a long glass topped contemporary table with Eames dining chairs and an open wood burning fireplace. There are also 2 Stokke highchairs should you need them.
The first floor has two bedrooms, (one with a King-size bed and the other with bunk beds and a pull out bed underneath, a bathroom (a “wet room” with under-floor heating, a great rain shower, classic roll top bath and heated towel rail), a Bedroom / TV room with double sofa bed, with satellite TV and a DVD, (with an extensive collection of DVD’s for those “stay at home” days when you’re walked off your feet) and of course WiFi.
The second floor comprises a master suite with a King-size bed, en suite bathroom, (also a “wet room” with under-floor heating, shower, roll top bath and heated towel rail), a dressing room and a further bedroom with a single bed that converts into a Kingsize bed and a Stokke crib / cot if required.
The house is incredibly child friendly, we know how difficult it is to travel with children and slip quickly into a routine when you arrive somewhere new! We have plenty of books and toys and there are stair-gates and baby monitors in the bedrooms should you need them. If you're travelling with children you won't need to bring a thing other than their favourite snuggly!
We provide a house file filled with useful information so you can quickly get to grips with where everything is, not only in the house but our preferred restaurants and services in the area. There are also plenty of travel guide books.
We are always on hand to help with any special needs you may have throughout your stay and can offer cleaning services should you require them.
We can also provide you with a reliable babysitting service.
Our house is a beautiful, practical and peaceful place to escape and enjoy London's hustle and bustle.

There is a fully refundable security deposit of £1500.

The spacious and well equipped house is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a hard days exploring, it's secure, cozy, and the house is south - facing making it light and airy.
Where the film 'Notting Hill' was made. A bustling market on Saturdays. Deli's, flowers and great restaurants. A ten minute walk from the house.
A seven minute walk from the house this is the nearest underground station.
The Heathrow Express train runs to and from here. A 15 minute journey to the airport.

If this house is available, take it. Don't hesitate, don't think about it, just grab it. The house itself is wonderful - better than the website pictures allow. It has a warm and relaxed feeling, with classy touches everywhere. We stayed with our 5 children and loved it. It is a short walk to the Ladbroke Grove tube and buses whizz past the nearby street every few minutes. And we can't say enough about the wonderful owner Katie. Nothing was too much trouble during our stay, but her efforts in getting me back in touch with my iPhone (which I left in the house) were way beyond what was reasonably required. Great accommodation.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

I can't say enough good things about this home and its owners. The location is great--a quick walk into the heart of Notting Hill but with a few quaint shops and all the basics steps away. The Mews set up makes it a very quiet escape from the city. The house itself is superb--incredible use of space makes it feel much larger than it is. There are windows everywhere that capture the light. The kitchen is incredible with everything you could ever need to cook a fantastic meal--great appliances as well as pots/pans/dishes. The baths are quite luxurious. We travelled with our 2 children--4 and 1--as well as our nanny. We all had ample space and the kids were instantly in heaven because of all of the great toys as well as comfy beds. Katie was great about making local recommendations, providing seemingly limitless guide books, and arranging for things like a cleaning service for our month as well as extra babysitting. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else if considering another trip with kids.

Large open plan ground floor with wood stove (perfect in March!). All the comforts, lovely bathrooms. This house was designed to work well and it is a delight to be in. We made great use of the local car service which was always prompt and less expensive than black cabs. Can thoroughly recommended this mews in every way. And the owner was great to work with.

We all loved the house! It was my husband and I with our 2 kids and a nanny and we had lots of space. The hosue is ideal for children as is the location with all of the fab local child friendly amenities. It's a great london location for going out and a great house to entertain in and all of the things in the house are beautiful! It's all so well equiped and the kitchen a pleasure to cook in not that you need to with so many great restaurants on the doorstep. I can't wait to go back and my 2 year old feels the same way due to all the great toys! I can't recommend it highly enough.

Fantastic house, great part of town. We had a wonderful time, and Katie and David were terrific hosts. The house has recently been remodeled and it really has a great feel. We stayed for four nights with our three children (all 5 and under) and our nanny, and we had plenty of space. The kids loved it and immediately felt at home. The only suggested improvement would be to go to a credit card based payment system (e.g., Paypal etc.). We think the house is really special and look forward to our return!

What you remember about this house is the terrific ambiance created from the light that floods into the comfortable living space. With a great kitchen and family room and lovely bedrooms, you are sure to be at home here. The decor is comfortable, creative and compliments the space well. Also, the bathrooms are simply gorgeous. The house was very clean and the linens were all terrific. Also, Katie and David left a wonderful book detailing the neighborhood which was very helpful. In addition, they had various guidebooks for us to use as references while we were there. We loved walking to Portobello market and shopping in both the casual shops and upscale boutiques. Great restaurants and fun people watching. Thanks for a great stay.
