  My family and I stayed for a long weekend in April. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Screened front porch was awesome. It felt very secluded with very few cabins in sight. The owners were also great. Probably the best most well appointed kitchen that i have been in for a vacation rental! We will most definitely be returning. I have no complaints!

If I found that I had packed a kitchen tool that I needed, I did not want to suffer for several months , so I bought one for the cabin. It became VERY well equipped that way.   This is the 4th time we have stayed at "My Back Porch' and we love this cabin! The pictures show exactly what you will get but probably don't do it justice. It is beautifully decorated with all the needed amenities! The owners Pam and Bob have exquisite taste and attention to detail. Our favorite areas are the back porch for breakfast and the fire pit for nightly bonfires. The fire pit has nice Adirondack chairs around it. The cabin is located in a gated community but sits at the highest point and you have nice mountain views. There are neighbors but they are not close by the house. Pam is very easy to work with and answer questions. She provides a book of ideas for nearby attractions and places to eat. We always go into the town of Blue Ridge to shop. We love Serenity Cafe for lunch. We also make a trip to Mercier's Orchard for the gift shop, apples, and ciders. We love the water falls in the area - Amicalola Falls, and Falls Branch Falls along Aska Road. Also go to Brasstown Bald for the views of 4 states atop the mountain. You will be happy with your choice if you choose 'My Back Porch'.

  Wow!! The first word said upon entering. As lovely as the pictures are, they don't do the place justice. The furnishings, accessories, and Christmas decorations were just beautiful!! The cabin was stocked with everything you could possibly need and more. I loved the fact that we weren't hanging off a cliff like our previous visit to the mountains. My 4 yr. old was able to explore safely and without mom or dad having a heart attack. I thought I was imagining the deer with the red bow, since I had just woken up and was half asleep taking my dog out, but there she was..my husband's face was priceless when I told him. Until he saw her and realized I wasn't losing my mind. haha We had an absolutely magical time and only left to run to the store. It was so nice to have nothing on the agenda but relaxation. Thanks for ordering the snow flurries for our stay! haha It was truly magical! My husband and our little one never saw snow before (Floridians). Although, it was warm and toasty in the cabin our whole stay with the fireplace going and I refuse to wash the delightful smell out of my winter coat, by the way. During our stay, we played pool, or as my son says, "played pool table",sat on the back porch staring at the glorious view, roasted marshmallows in the fire pit, gathered kindling in the woods, sat on the swing, grilled, used the hot-tub..laughed so much getting in with a 2 piece swimsuit on in 30 degree weather (heavenly once in), cooked in the fab. kitchen, watched movies on the huge plasma, read an entire book, and just simply enjoyed the precious time with my family. It was hard to leave, but when we are able to return, we will be sure to stay at "My Back Porch!" Thanks Pam & Bob!!

  This cabin is absolute amazing and the owners are very gracious. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a mountain vacation. We will certainly be back the next time the mountains are calling my name.

  What a BEAUTIFUL cabin!!! We had such a wonderful, relaxing weekend and so enjoyed staying at "My Back Porch"! The cabin was so clean and so beautifully decorated! We enjoyed hiking, playing pool and other games, cooking, making smores, enjoyed the hot tub, and just relaxing! We even got to see and pet the deer with the red bow around its neck! We will definitely be coming back! Thank you so much Pam and Bob for allowing us to stay at your wonderful cabin! We made so many memories and had so many laughs and good times this weekend!

  "My Back Porch" is a beautiful home in a wonderful location. The mountain view and the privacy of the cabin gives you a peaceful and serene feeling. The only time we left was to go rafting on the Ocoee which is something you should do if you are in this area. The cabin was spotless and had everything you could possibly need for a fun time. The owners were great to work with. You will not be disappointed if you rent this cabin.

  We rented this cabin for a girls' weekend, and it was the ideal place for us to stay. The cabin was clean (spotless), comfortable, beautifully decorated, and spacious. It is in a gorgeous location that is private and peaceful. It was GREAT! The owner couldn't have been nicer or easier to deal with. Our only complaint was that our stay wasn't long enough!

  Thourghly enjoyed our stay. The weather was perfect and the leaves were turning color. The owner was very helpful with our. Questions and gave us suggestions on places to see and eat. There was even a fawn that came to visit and stayed with us for an hour or so. We'll look for. An opportunity to go back.)I

  Our weekend spent at "My Back Porch" was wonderful. The pictures were an accurate representation of the cabin. We found everything just as described, the location was convenient to whitewater rafting and restaurants. The property owners were great to work with and very professional. We are already planning a return trip and recommending this property to our friends and family members.

  My husband and I have stayed in many cabins in the Ellijay/Blue Ridge area but none can compare to My Back Porch. It is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, spacious, and the view is incredible. We could let our little dog relax on the deck area because it has a gate and there was no worry about her wandering off. We loved it! It is the perfect place to relax and recharge. We have already made reservations to return in October. Thanks, Pam, for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful cabin!
