Lovely bright garden level suite in beautifully renovated Craftsman home, on pretty tree-lined street. 3 blocks from Jericho Beach, park and bird sanctuary. 20 minutes by car to International Airport, 10 minutes to downtown Vancouver and Stanley Park, 5 minutes to University of BC. 2 blocks to major bus routes, shopping and restaurants. Private entrances, every room immaculate, and tastefully detailed for your comfort and convenience.
Open-plan family/living room. Kitchen is fully equipped, with dishwasher and microwave. Master bedroom, living room and office/den all have gas fireplaces. Master bedroom has ensuite bath with radiant in-floor heat, glass shower, double sinks and antique vanity. 2nd bedroom is beside 2nd bath with soaker tub. Sunny office/den has convertible sofa bed, flat screen TV and DVD player. Opens onto pretty garden with lounge chairs, and pea-gravel sandbox for little ones.
High chair and pack-n-play cot available. Toys, books, videos and games on site. Your own laundry room with full-size machines. Pet-friendly for well-mannered, hypo-allergenic (non-shedding) dogs on flea control programs only, with prior permission of owner. Fine linens and feather-like bedding provided. (Down pillows available on request.) Green, toxin-free cleansers and products used.
This retreat is self-catered. However, your welcome basket on arrival will include coffee, tea and fresh fruit. We want you to feel at home, enjoy your stay and come often!

Walk 3 blocks to picnic in the sun by the seashore, enjoy beach volley ball and eat great fish and chips at beach concessions, or take sailing, kayaking or wind-surfing lessons at the sailing club. Or take a stroll through the wooded park adjacent to the beach, admiring seabirds and eagles by ponds shaded gently by willows. Or take the day at UBC, the site of the Nitobe Gardens, the Museum of Anthropology and Pacific Spirit Park, with 2000 acres of walking and biking trails.
