'Neston' is on 2 acres of property, located in a very quiet and secluded neighborhood.

Enjoy the Beautiful Views of Harrington Sound one of the most Beautiful inlets in Bermuda.

Harrington Sound is a wonderful inland lake in Bermuda surrounded mainly by Hamilton parish and Smiths parish. There is a small narrow inlet that connects this lake to Atlantic ocean, known as the Flatts inlet.

The water in this lake mostly flows in through the underwater caves and subterranean passages. The sound has been named after Lucy Harrington, a lady from the Elizabethan days who did a lot for the Parish.

Harrington sound has many small islands in it like the Trunk island and Rabbit Island. Some of them are inhabited through out the year.

The water area is excellent for activities like swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, windsurfing etc. Although there are many types of fish that you can find here, over the years the population of shell fish like the scallops have been steadily decreasing.

The Large Studio makes you feel at home, away from home. The Kitchenette features refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, pots pan and utensils. Daily cleaning and linen service can be available at a price.

There is an ample supply of towels for both the beach, pool and bath.

A King-size bed accommodates two. Internet service is provided FREE so that you can stay in touch with others, or your office. Flat Screen Television and Telephone.

'Neston' is in walking distance to the Beach, or catching the Bus. It is about 5 min away from two of Bermudas' BEST attractions, the Aquarium and Zoo and the Crystal Cave.

If you desire a mixture of relaxation and quietness than 'Neston' is for you.

The unit, pool and view were just like the photos. The unit and property were well furnished, attractive and clean. Everything worked and we didn't have any problems. It is a gentle 10 - 15 minute walk to the bus stop and food market. Bus passes can be purchased at the Post Office, which is on the way to the bus stop. Unit location is great -- about midway between Hamilton and St. George (30 - 35 minutes on the bus). People in Bermuda were very friendly and helpful. Getting around on the buses and ferry was easy and if asked, the drivers will announce the stop closest to your destination. Wayne was an excellent host. He helped us get settled and his restaurant and attraction recommendations were right on. He knows everyone on the island and is glad to help you have the best possible vacation. We had a great time and will be visiting Neston again. Dennis and Bonnie

We stayed here for the Bermuda Triangle Challenge and it was the perfect place for my wife and I...far enough away from the crowds to enjoy the peace and quiet yet close enough to the bus stop and market to get wherever and whatever we needed. Like virtually ever person we met, Mr Furbert was the perfect ambassador for Bermuda. He helped us arrange transportation from the airport to the unit and personally met us to give us a tour of the grounds. Later that night, he not only offered dinner suggestions but he also took us into town and gave us a tour of Hamilton! Two of our races started pretty early on Sat and Sun and taking the bus wasn't an option. We asked about taxis and what we got was Mr Furbert taking time out of his morning to take us to the start of each of the races, he was even at the corner in Flatts Village cheering us on as we ran the 1/2 marathon! The view from the unit is amazing and the water is just as clear and beautiful as he has described. From his dock you can sit and relax, go for a swim or use the kayak he makes available to guests. The bus stop and local market are a short 5-10 min walk from the house and you can be in Hamilton in about 15 mins. This truely was the perfect get away for us and if you like to have time for quiet relaxation and yet still be close to all of the action then this is the place for you and the prices are far more reasonable than anything else we found which was an added bonus. We'll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Nelson House. The view of the sound was beautiful, the unit was clean and all the amenities were offered. We enjoyed the kayaks and snorkeling around the little island in the sound, and seeing the hundreds of "jacks" jumping out of the water. Wayne was very helpful, by taking us to rent the moped. (If you rent a moped, remember, you have to take a driving test!!) We would highly recommend anyone to stay here, as it allows for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. :)

Amazing says it all! A perfect combination of location and hospitality makes this the perfect get away. The home is ideally perched above the Harrington Sound, away from the hustle and bustle of tourist central (which we like when we travel). Still, you'll find you're located an easy walk to bus lines and the market (app. 10 minutes). Taxis will also come right to the property for pick-up. We opted not to rent a scooter, but the owner can help coordinate this for you. Wayne and his family are perfect ambassadors and are happy to answer your questions. Wayne met us upon arrival and took us to the town shopping square so we could familiarize ourselves with the area. Thank you! There were days we stayed right on the property enjoying the pool, the beautiful Harrington Sound and the view! Evening drinks on the pool house roof-top let us see jumping rays in the Sound! The modern unit was stocked with everything you need to settle right in! Loved the coffee!! Paradise found! If you're lucky enough to find the dates you want available, don't hesitate to book or we just might beat you to it!

My husband & I recently spent a week at NESTON & we simply cannot say enough, about our accomodations, the beautiful view of the Harrington Sound, how peaceful it was, and how very kind Wayne Furbert was to us. He took his ( precious) time & visited awhile, upon arrival. Was kind enough to run us up to the grocery, spend a few minutes at the bridge at Flatts Village, where we briefly watched young men fishing. We had difficulty getting a cab, 2 evenings, and a brief call from Wayne, to his many constituents, and a cab was there, both occasions in no time. We look forward to returning again, and are very impressed & grateful for all of his assistance.

We just returned from our spectacular trip to Bermuda. The Neston Estate was everything we could ask for. Wayne was the most gracious host; he offered the right mix of hospitality and assistance while ensuring your privacy. The grounds were majestic and well manicured; the apartment immaculate, very quiet and comfortable; the view and accessibility to the waterfront were pristine. After a day exploring Bermuda on our scooter, sampling the local fare with a late lunch, we shopped at the nearby supermarket, less than ½ mile down the road. As we turned into the Neston driveway we would feel like we were returning home to our own estate; each time gasping in awe at the spectacular house and turquoise water view that greeted us. We swam every morning from the dock on the Estate and also enjoyed Wayne’s kayak. I ran on nearby rail trails that overlooked the ocean. At day’s end we enjoyed a drink and some appetizers on the lawn chairs overlooking the sound. The temperature was delightful and there were no mosquitoes! This estate offers tranquility and serenity with the gentle sounds of nature surrounding you, reminding you at every glance how truly spectacular Bermuda is. We are already planning a return trip next year.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in the efficiency on Harrington Sound. I arranged this location as I was swimming in the Bermuda Round the Sound Swim on 10/18/09. I was able to get used to the water in the Sound from the private stairs leading to a dock on the Sound from which to swim or launch the tandem kayak. The location was very private and we felt completely at ease on the deck by the pool and used both daily. We had our coffee and breakfast on the patio just outside the efficiency, watching the sunrise over the water. The bus stop is a ten minute walk and the local pizza restaurant not only had great pizza, but a dvd rental machine we used (we watched the DVD's on my laptop). We used the bus system (seemed safer than renting a moped) to go to Hamilton, the Royal Naval Dockyard, and St. Georges. The Aquarium and Zoo near Flatt's inlet is quite close and worth a trip, with dinner at Indigo's to follow (a quaint restaurant with great food across the street from the aquarium). We enjoyed the best fish and chips on the island at the Frog and Onion Pub at the dockyard and took the ferry back to Hamilton from there which is quicker than the bus. The trips to St. Georges were nice and on our last day we went to the Swizzle Inn and had a fine send off meal and then were picked up by Melvin Outerbridge, former fire chief, turned cab driver. I recommend the local rockfish cooked with banana or the Bermuda Fish Chowder. I also liked the Wahoo and other local seafood. Be prepared to spend a bit more than you are used to for groceries and dining out. The owner of the house and effficiency, Wayne Furbert, was a pleasure to talk to and he took us to the local market for groceries to make breakfast each day in the apartment. He gave us a ride to the post office to get bus tickets and gave us samples of coffee to use each day, which were a treat. The internet access allowed us to keep in touch with our kids and upload our many pictures from the trip. We drank the water straight from the tap and always had a bottle or two cooling in the refrigerator so we would not have to buy water while out hiking. Shelley Bay Park and beach are a five minute bus ride away and provide great snorkeling. Had we more time, we would have gone to more of the south shore beaches. The efficiency was clean, well equipped and the grounds were well kept. The views are gorgeous and the Sound is a wonderful place to swim. I found a 100 year old hair tonic bottle from New York in the shallo

The property is located in one of the most beautiful areas in Bermuda on just under 2 acres. We have had great reviews over the years. The last review was 2011 because someone loved the house so much, that they rented the whole property from April 2011 - March 2013.

The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
Many mornings you can wake up and look at the Ocean - Harrington Sound, which is an inlet in Bermuda, the water is very calm, like glass and crystal clear. You can exercise and walk around the property. It is very peaceful and quiet. You can swim in the pool or off our dock in the ocean.
