Romantic retreat on spectacular Lake Superior's north shore. Two story style cottage is surrounded by pine trees, birch trees, rocks to climb. Enjoy the deluxe interior log beds, deer and bear motif, fully furnished gourmet kitchen, fireplace, tv, board games, firepit for evening fun. See the sunrise while sitting on the lakeside deck. Beautiful master suite with jacuzzi tub, private ceramic bathroom with shower.
Queen size bed in main level bedroom perfect for another couple or children's area; has specialty deer and comical bear bedspreads, also hide-a-crib in closet. Twin loveseats in the living room by the fireplace are easy single pullout hide-a-beds. Our cottage is perfect for a quiet getaway, memorable vacation for the girls, fall color weekend, or winter wonderland.

What to do and see nearby will amaze you. We are located in the heart of the north shore with 3 state parks close by, splitrock Lighthouse, Gooseberry Falls, and Tettegouche State Park. Walk the beaches for agates and rocks, Silverbay Harbor and see the boats, or do charter fishing.
Bring your bicycle, the hiking and bike trails are incredible. Walk to 5 great restaurants from our place! The town of Beaver Bay has gift shops, agate shop and museum, quilt store, local old-time bar.
A must to see is Splitrock Lighthouse and Visitor Center; tour the old restored buildings, climb the lighthouse stairs. Don't forget your camera! Truly a special place to rent any season of the year.

Why the Owner Chose Beaver Bay
We have enjoyed being on the north shore of Lake Superior since children. Love to climb the rocks, walk the shore, hike the trails and see the deer and moose. Snowmobiling on the groomed trails is our favorite winter sport. Most of all, we love listening to the waves hit the rugged shore and seeing the sunsets and bright stars at night. We love to swim in the indoor heated pool with our grandchildren. Many of our renters come back each year sharing with family and friends.
