The house, called Compagne de Beaudon, is located in a great location 45 minutes from Aix en Provence and Avignon, a short ride to the commercial center of Apt where there are large supermarkets and a fresh food market on Saturdays, dry cleaners, etc. The market in Bonnieux is on Fridays and is very interesting. It is also and a short ride to the wonderful hill villages of Lacoste, Gordes and Menerbes. It is surrounded by 24 acres of pristine nature with oaks, olive trees and a lavender field next to the house.
The house is fully furnished with comfortable furniture and interesting books, CDs and pictures. All of the bedrooms have either a full bath or a shower and sink and there are 3 separate toilets and one in one of the bathrooms.
The house is heated in the winter and has a wonderful fireplace; Rentals in October through March are lovely due to the fabulous colors of the woods and surroundings.
The interior is painted in Provencal colors and has all the comforts of home.
There are chaise longs and a hammock to relax next to the house and by the pool.

- Air Conditioning: No air-conditioning but there are two ceiling fans: one in the living room and one in the master bedroom. There are also portable fans in the house and lots of cross ventilation via the windows.
- Washer: The washer is in the launder room with is off the entrance and has a separate sink.
- Dryer: The dryer is in the laundry room next to the washer.
- Linens Provided: Sheets and pillow cases and towels will be changed every 14 days for stays of more than one week.
- Off Street Parking: There is lots of room for parking.
- Parking for RV/Boat/Trailer: There is lots of room for parking.
- Wood Fireplace: The fireplace is hug and wood is provided.
- Beds
- King Bed: All of our king beds (there are 3 of them one in each of the 3 bedrooms) are new and European size kings: 160x 190 centimeters.
- Double Bed: The double bed is 120 x 190 cm and can sleep one adult comfortably or two small children.
- Twin/Single Bed: The single bed is 90x190 cm and can sleep one teenager or child; one bed is located in the children's bedroom and another single bed is located in one of the king size bedrooms.
