We just returned from our week away at Lost Lake and we couldn't have asked for much better. The place was perfect for my husband and I, our small child and the dog. The pictures were pretty spot on though they didn't do the place justice. It was much better in person! The facilities were the perfect size, I felt like we had plenty of room but not too overwhelming for our small clan! The owners took great care of us, the house was stocked with all the necessities! They were quick to respond to all of our inquiries and restocked us as needed througout the week! We had crumy weather but still found breaks in the rain to go explore the Olympic National Forest, kayak on the quiet lake, sit in front of the fire, play games on the covered porch and make bon fires down on the dock! You really feel like you are out and secluded at this lake, it was perfect for what we were looking for for our anniversary trip!

We fell in love with this place. The cabin itself was very lovely and the beds were cozy. The lake is very beautiful. This is the perfect place if you like quiet and relaxation. You may want to bring your own movies and games if you have children. We enjoyed kayaking but didn't do any swimming as the water is a bit cold in April. If you look at these and read these comments and choose not to book your stay, you're crazy and your life will not be complete! We will definitely be back!

We stayed for here for a week during Christmas, and I can't remember when I have felt so relaxed during the holidays! This darling cabin was so comfortable, it truly felt like a "home away from home." The weather prevented us from enjoying the many activities offered at this lake-side cottage, however, the windows overlooking the lake provided us with beautiful views that constantly changed from morning to night, from occasional sunshine to light mist floating on the lake surface, to the mesmerizing rain falling into the lake, creating beautiful circular patterns. The cabin was well supplied and lacked for nothing. The bedrooms, though small, were very comfortable -- I slept like a baby! It was wonderful having a washer and dryer, and I was especially pleased to have wireless internet connection during my stay. Oh, I forgot to mention that our two little doggies just loved this cabin, and each day, after our morning walk, they contently spent their time lying in front of the gas stove in the living room. This truly is a "Secret Paradise" and we will definitely be back!

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The house is small, but beautiful with all of the accomodations one would need. There are quite a few steps down to the dock, but consider it great exercise. We enjoyed swimming, fishing, long walks, and kayaking and watching kids tubing on the water. A cup of coffee on the deck at 7 a.m. was wonderful. Hope we can do it again next year.

Our stay at the 'cabin' was more like renting a small condo with all the modern amenedies of home. The beds were wonderful and the home-like furnishings were very cozy. The private fishing dock was one of a kind and I caught a 14 inch fat trout. The wrap-around porch has plenty of outdoor seating with a BBQ and view of the lake. We really had a good time and plan to be back again.
