This 1970's 2 story home was recently renovated in the charming "cottage" style. It is a delightful place to relax with friends and family.
The house is 3 miles from downtown Cadiz and is situated on 5 acres, in an established neighborhood. Though there are neighbors nearby, it is private and tranquil. The Moon River Marina is less than 1/2 mile down the road, so you can put your boat(s) in the water, gas them up, get bait (or lures) and snacks, drinks and ice, and then zip around the bend to dock them at the house. Fun fishing at and around our dock; a friend caught a big Bass his first cast! "Glass-lake" waterskiing and wakeboarding in our cove. Walk from the house, down the (moderate) slope to the dock. Closer to the water's edge is a small deck, where you can grill out, sunbathe or read a book.
Forgot something and need to go to town? Or want to shop? It's a no-hassle quick trip to the grocery, restaurants and antique stores. The Lake Barkley State Park is 15 minute drive away. There you'll find dining, fitness, a full marina with boat and jet ski rentals, tennis, hiking, trap range and FREE WI-FI access. Land Between the Lakes State Park has sightseeing, overnight camping, ATV trails and shooting opportunities. To find out more about the lakes area, and to check the lake water level, you can do an internet search "explore kentucky lake."
Please, no pets and smoking outside, only. Also, please be advised that the lake depth is determined by the Army Corps of Engineers. Lake Barkley is currently at Winter level, which means that our dock is only partially floating. Also, our cove tends to collect driftwood, which we remove only once a year.
