Come enjoy the beach summer or winter. The main house, Knole House, is also a vacation rental that sleeps 8. The guesthouse is detached and a seperate guesthouse and is also on the beach overlooking the dunes and the ocean. This 2nd floor guesthouse (our workshop below) is located just 1 ½ mile north of the city center of Long Beach WA and approximately 6 1/2 miles from the mouth of the Columbia River. On a clear day you can see North Head Lighthouse near Cape Disappointment.
The guesthouse is nearly 1,000 SF. It also has a huge southern deck and a small covered northern deck with bar-b-que and deck furniture. Both decks and all windows have fantastic views. Each bedroom has a queen bed and a double hide-a-bed in the living room. It comes with a full kitchen completely loaded plus a washer/dryer.
Rates are $175 - $200 per night. We take pets on a case by case basis with a deposit and credit card information for damages.

Year Purchased: 1999
Elaine and Jack met and married while they were both in the USAF. They have been married for 26 years and are now retired and loving it. They have 5 children and 8 grandchildren. When possible, they spend much of their time traveling.
Why the Owner Chose Long Beach
We bought our beachfront acreage in 1997 and started building the guesthouse in 1999. We finished in 2001 and lived in the guesthouse for 2 years while we built our main house. With our family grown and very busy we decided to start renting the guesthouse in 2004 for others to enjoy.
The Unique Benefits of this House
When you visit our guesthouse...we try to make you feel at home. We have firewood and kindling for a bon fire. Many of our guests are returnees.

My wife and 2 kids spent 3 nights at the guest house. Very clean, private path to the beach made me feel special. The dog loved it too! View from the deck is very good and we've seen deer walk by a few times.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children.
