You'll love it here. We have a spectacular view of the mountains and the East Shore sunsets are marvelous. Don't be surprised to see a bald eagle swooping down to get a fish in the lake or to hear two loons calling to each other at night.
We have over 150 feet of private lakefront. For those of you who love the water, our property gets sun all day unlike the west side of the lake. Also, the water temperature is warmer than many other parts of the lake. The water gets gradually deeper and there is a 12 foot wide protected cove, along the lakefront, where the water is very shallow The swim float is perfect for diving in the lake or working on your tan. The 24 foot dock is great for fishing and hanging out. There is also a rowboat and canoe available for your use.
There are two outdoor campfire rings, overlooking the lake, which are suitable for telling ghost stories roasting marshmallows, and watching more stars than you can imagine.
The cabin has a rustic wood interior: two bedrooms with queen size beds, one bedroom with two twin beds and a double bed, two bathrooms, a huge three season room with a futon, and a fully equipped kitchen. Additionally, the huge outdoor deck, with gas grill, is great for outdoor eating and relaxing.
For your convenience, there is a small library with books for adults and children, board games, air hockey table, full size pool table, foosball table, DVD player, large screen TV and CD player. Our cabin is a 1/2 mile walk to the Adirondack General Store. The General Store sells convenience items and serves breakfast and lunch. There is also a tennis court, public beach,basketball court, playground and baseball field within a 1/2 mile walk.
The cabin is close to Rt. 87 and is 25 minutes to Lake George.

About the owner: My husband has been visiting the Schroon Lake area for over 30 years. His mom retired to the area and lives year round in the area. We hope to retire and spend our summers and at the lake to enjoy the magnificent view and the peaceful relaxing atmosphere.
