I've stayed at many condo/hotels and private villas in Playa, and Aldea Thai is my favorite. The public areas, especially the pool is beautiful, the location is perfect, just off 5th Ave and walking distance to everything, beach is steps aways and right next to Mamitas Beach Club, which has a very cool vibe, surprisingly good food and plenty of drinks. It's just as easy to plop down on the beach with a towel and relax, although it tends to be a more crowded beach. The condo itself was beautiful. Very modern, very spacious and even better views than the pictures could begin to show. The rooftop was a great perk, and a perfect place to start and end each day. A couple things to be aware of - there's only 2 lounge chairs on the rooftop, however there's a large built in sofa for evening lounging. Kitchen has a cooktop and microwave, but not an oven. Fridge is great and plenty big for 6-8 people, however there is no dishwasher. Just some minor details in an otherwise perfect place to stay. Beds are very comfortable, AC works great and cleaning service did an excellent job. This condo has the best of everything and well worth the money - I highly recommend and will be back...
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We rented this place for 1 month in January and had a wonderful time. The penthouse is very spacious and has a great terrace. The whole complex is clean and luxerious The manager Gerry is super helpful,great service, no problem was unsolved. I can really recommend this penthouse We will definitely book again
