This condo is in the newly finished Infinity bay Resort, the highest quality resort on Roatan Island.
The large one bedroom condo is newly and beautifully furnished. The balcony looks over the huge and beautiful infinity edged pool that meanders through the resort grounds. Ocean view and sounds make this a peaceful and stunning setting. Excellent restaurant facilities on site, and West End is nearby with shopping and ample restaurants to enjoy the wonderful Honduran cuisine. The beach here has the whitest sand and clearest ocean water you have ever seen, and great snorkeling lies just off the beach. Excellent scuba is available off the beaches of Roatan also. Many have sugested " Roatan's West Bay is the most stunning beach in the Caribbean". We agree!

Year Purchased: 2007
Patti and I currently live in Colorado and love everything outdoors, from the Rocky Mountains to scuba diving the world class reefs of the world. We found the incredible island of Roatan and purchased our condo at Infinity Bay, a wonderful and beautiful resort with world class beaches and snorkeling and scuba diving. We have explored Mayan and Incan ruins from Mexico, Guatemala, Peru, and Copan, Honduras. Dana is a family practice physician, and Patti 'runs' the medical business. We have 2 'dog children', our wonderful Boxers. We are motorcycle riders - both on and off road. We hope the condo on Roatan will become our second home and be the doorway to many wonderful diving and exploring experiences in Honduras and South and Central America. Hopefully retirement is in the works in the next couple of years, and we are truly looking forward to traveling the world and experiencing everything there is out there! We sincerely hope we meet interesting and fun friends by allowing them to experience Honduras and Roatan while relaxing at our beautiful condo!

We love the outdoors, and the opportunities for everything outdoors that Roatan offers was the major reason for us purchasing there. The scuba diving is world class, and the snorkeling right off Infinity Bay's beach is superb. The island is absolutely beautiful and the crystal clear water is some of the best we have ever experienced. the mainland of Honduras, likewise a haven of beautiful rainforests and extraordinary beaches, also offers the opportunity to visit and explore Mayan ruins such as Copan. We hope the condo on Roatan will open vistas for us to visit the rest of Central and South America.

Roatan and our condo offers superb snorkeling and scuba diving, and one of the prettiest beaches and most beautiful water we have ever seen. The resort is extremely relaxing, with all amenities expected and a huge, wandering pool that overlooks the ocean. Staff is extraordinary as is the new and beautiful resort. It truly is a grand place to stay and enjoy!

LOVELY VACATION AT INFINITY BAY

My husband & I recently returned from one week in this condo, which is well situated with a lovely view.Our driver was there at the airport, but first day was marred by having to wait several hours to get into our room, and non-functioning airconditioning which necessitated a longer wait to get fixed. Entire first day lost dealing with these issues. Problems with our room key for first 3 days that caused much frustration. There are no tea towels, dishclothes, dish soap or any basics at all in condo kitchen (very different from our first VRBO experience). As we were not inclined to purchase everything, we didn't use the kitchen facilities. However, IB very lovely resort with very pleasant staff. Beach is gorgeous and snorkelling very good. Reef is one of the healthiest and nicest we have seen in years - a short swim from shore. There are a number of restaurants within easy walking distance along the beach, but food in Roatan in general was a bit of a disappointment. Bite on the Beach nice, Vintage Pearl quite good, and our favourite was Besos in West End - excellent food, drink and atmosphere. The breakfasts at IB were very good, though inconsistent in their content. The deli outside the resort also had great breakfasts. West End short 10 minute water taxi ride away - fun town filled with restaurants and bars. It was always enjoyable to sip a cold local beer while watching the tourists and locals coming and going. It is walkable on the beach, though we did encounter 2 young girls who had just been robbed when we tried it and would recommend caution and safety in numbers if walking that end of the beach (beyond Bite on the Beach, where it is much more secluded). All in all very pleasant and relaxing week. There are definitely negatives but one shouldn't be put off visiting IB. The resort feels like it has not yet ironed out all it's kinks, but staff truly friendly and pleasant. Compared to our first VRBO rental where owner was very accessible and eager to answer all questions, and followed up upon our arrival at his home and after our return home, this owner was much more difficult to contact. An e-mail sent two weeks prior to our departure with questions went unanswered and there has been no follow-up since our return. But many positives too - IB and condo beautiful, beach and snorkelling wonderful, people very friendly. Roatan very laid back, casual - leave your shoes at home! We are glad to have visited this beautiful destination.

Infinity Bay is as good as it gets for an island vacation. You can't ask for anything more while vacationing in Roatan. The service is great (without being over-the-top). If you want over-the-top go to Club Med. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be enjoyed right @ the beach, or stroll down the beach for just about anything you need. There is a small Americanized shopping plaza right outside the parking compound within walking distance. You can buy your condo supplies or some American foods like deli or bagels if you tire of island food. The plaza also has a small island boutique and a scooter rental. If you want to rent a car they will deliver it right to Infinity Bay for no extra charge. Car rental ran us about $35.00 U.S a day. I have scuba dived many places in the Caribbean and the scuba diving and snorkeling @ Infinity Bay is world class. My wife and I snorkeled or scuba every day. You can go out to the reef by boat or dive right from the beach. There are many dive shops within walking distance. With just a short swim to the reef I especially enjoyed the hassle free beach diving. You can decide to go diving in the middle of the day and then return back to your beach chair and enjoy a cool drink and a fresh beach towel. For thrill seekers like myself beach night diving is also available. Dinning up and down the beach is all excellent, and the service in Roatan is very friendly. Fine dining @ the beach restaurants just seems better with your shoes off. We met a lot of Americans from all over the States and even some living abroad. If island vacationing is for you, than it just does not get better than Infinity Bay on Roatan. Also it is very easy and hassle free to book with the owner. Highly Recommended!

We stayed in this condo in May 2010 and loved it! It is on the second floor and has a nice view of the pool. There is a king-sized bed, air conditioning, purified water right out of the tap, two bathrooms with shower, and a full-sized kitchen if you want to cook your own meals. You can sit outside by the beach and get breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Infinity Bay or walk to many nearby options. The Island Pearl restaurant is a must and a short walk down the beach. The beach and coral reef right in front of the building are gorgeous - crystal clear, warm, calm water with tons of sea life - sea turtles, rays, spotted eel, lobster, cuttlefish, puffers, and parrot fish. The infinity pool is warm and has waterfalls and a swim up bar. Watching the sunset from the pool every evening was pure relaxation. We walked up and down the beach everyday and were very happy with our choice to stay at IB. Airport pick-up and drop-off was free and easy. Just make sure you arrange it with IB before you arrive. Working with these owners was very easy and pleasant. I highly recommend them!
