The Lebair Cottage is located directly on Lake Megunticook waterfront with parking in front of the home and a garage and parking across the road as well. The first floor has a breakfast room, kitchen, spacious living room (with a gas fire place), two bedrooms and 1.5+ bathrooms. The second floor loft area has two bedrooms. We have cable TV and internet access.
There is a porch that leads to a multi-level granite and paver stone patio area. Our swimming/boating dock is directly off of the lower patio. Our two Kayaks and canoe can be rented as well. The landscaping, granite steps, paver patios, and special landscape lighting make it very enjoyable to sit at the waters edge day or night listen to the Loons and watching the Humming Birds and Bald Eagles.

Year Purchased: 1948
The Lebair Cottage was purchased in December of 1948 by our Grandfather. During the 1950's, my grandfather added and enlarged the cottage to accommodate his growing family of five grand children. Pictured are my wife and two sons. Today, our families and many friends enjoy the beauty and fun of this wonderful slice of heaven in Maine
Why the Owner Chose Camden
The Lebair Cottage is located on Lake Megunticook, Camden Maine in the Penobscot Bay Region. Lake Megunticook is just 3 miles from the coast, surrounded by the Camden Mountains. The local saying is "Where the Mountains Meet the Sea." The Penobscot bay also hosts Mt. Cadillac, on Mt. Desert Island (Bar Harbor) in Arcadia National Park.

We are directly on the lake waterfront that includes multi-level patios and a boating and swimming dock. Hiking trails, boating, fishing, reading, dinning, shopping (1 hr. from L.L. Beans too), schooner rides on the Atlantic Ocean, antiquing, and relaxing are some of the many wonderful activities a stay at our cottage will provide.
