Geographically located in an area known as California's Riviera, "one can expect the best coastal weather in Southern California." The property is located right on the beach so you can expect to see schools of dolphins, and surfers. In addition it is near both Doheny and Poche, two of the best surfing spots on the west coast.
At 60 miles south of Los Angeles, and 65 miles north of San Diego, we are just 45 minutes to Disneyland, 25 minutes to Lego Land, 60 minutes to Sea World and within an hour of all the other great attractions Southern California has to offer.
Dining in the surrounding area consists of a famous Mexican restaurant, an Italian restaurant and Sushi within walking distance. We also have waterfront dining on the San Clemente Pier or in the Dana Point Harbor. There are many more upscale restaurants in the vicinity due to the proximity of the nearby Luxury Hotels including The Ritz Carlton, The St. Regis and The Montage Resort.

Beautiful, relaxing home, on the sand! The guarded, gated community makes you feel very safe. The home is clean, comfortable and well appointed. Lovely landscaped back and front patios. Lovely furnishings, great kitchen. Listing description totally accurate. The owners were very helpful. Have recommended this place to other family members. Our family loved the place and would like to return. Charming town of San Juan Capistrano nearby, as well as the beautiful South Orange County coast and many other charming towns. Very good to excellent restaurants nearby. Disneyland only 40 min. away.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

We had a wonderful time here. You have a wonderful and truly beach-y home! It was very kid friendly! If you have a kid or you yourself love trains, this is a great location! Every hour or so, the commuter train passes behind the house. Don't worry, it doesn't interfere with anything and not too noisy. My kids slept through it. We very much appreciated having the sand toys, beach cruisers, and helmets! You have truly thought of everything!! Even some of the outlets had covers!! The beds were extremely comfortable, the linens were beautiful, and the kitchen was well stocked. The kids even appreciated having tv to watch cartoons at down times. And the mexican restaurant, Olamendi's was seriously the best mexican I have ever had; and I like to think of myself as somewhat of a connoisseur. This place was perfect for us! We had 2 families staying here. 2 adults (husbands stayed home) and 4 kids under 4. We did have to keep pulling kids off the stairs, other than that it was fabulous. It was great to let the "older" kids play in the sand which is right outside the back patio, while the parents where able to cook or care for the littler ones. Lots of windows to see outside, just tie up the curtains. The living room was spacious enough to let the kids play! The floor is tile, so it is a bit hard on the little monkeys, but at least it is easy to clean! The restaurants are within walking distance, but it is a long walk (if you don't live in a place where you walk constantly-otherwise not bad) with young kids. No easy crosswalks that access paths/sidewalks for strollers. If you don't have young kids in strollers, there is a sky bridge cross over the street (lots of stairs). We only ate at Olamendi's because we couldn't get over the amazing service and food! Dana Point is accessible by walking or biking too. We drove mostly, but my friend ended up taking a walk there with a stroller and elderly father. So it is totally doable. The whale watching tour was great! I would recommend that to anyone! Overall, it was a fabulous vacation!
