This immaculately clean, beautifully appointed apartment has a full size kitchen, granite counter tops, four-burner gas stove, full size oven, as well as a microwave and full size fridge. The bedroom faces the water with large sliding glass doors and spacious sundeck. A twin bed is in a cozy room next to the master bedroom with its queen bed and top-of-the line mattress. HDTV in the living room with luxurious leather couch and cozy arm chairs, The kitchen has an eat-in island and large windows facing the Great Marsh Bird Sanctuary. Your own private entrance and a quiet neighborhood with quick access to Boston, Cambridge, and the Vermont mountains.
Walk out into a yard filled with trees and flowers. You're surrounded by peace and quiet yet a short stroll takes you to the neighborhood restaurant and (yummm) a delightful new ice cream parlor! Fall is especially beautiful on Cape Ann. The days are warm, the sunny beaches empty, apples, cider, and fall foliage fill the air. Bike to Crane Beach, Castle Hill events, Myopia Polo Grounds, Ascot Stables. Around the corner is Russell Orchards for berry and apple picking, and that delicious old-fashioned farm experience. with fresh pressed cider, apple cider donuts (yummm! You have to taste them to believe them!), farm fresh vegetables, unique Orchard Wines and built-in entertainment with lots of large and small farm animals, benches, trees, and local musicians. Less than half mile in both directions are two public golf courses. One course has ocean views and was the favorite of local celebrity author, John Updike.
the apartment is just minutes from the commuter rail to Boston --the ride is less than 40 min to Boston's Back Bay, Fenway Park and the Red Sox, Cambridge and Harvard Square.
During your stay you have a free access pass for four to Crane Beach as well as a pass to the pleasant, upscale workout facilities at the Ipswich YMCA. The Ipswich Y has elegant workout rooms, an indoor pool, basketball court, spin classes and more.
If you are staying a week or more we have laundry and dry cleaning pick-up and delivery twice a week. Housekeeping services are available to make your stay relaxing and care free.
Garage parking available. There is also a 900 square foot separate loft space with 15' ceilings for an artist or musician wanting access to a large studio space.

We bought this historic farm house 20 years ago. The property has been totally renovated in the last two years. What drew us was the convenience of being close to everything in a house that feels like it is a thousand miles away from the rush of everyday life.
