Wake to some friendly roosters, then enjoy a breakfast under the beautiful outdoor palapa with a stunning view of the ocean. Allow 2 minutes to stroll down the road and arrive at a beach to yourself with shade umbrellas, gentle surf and sandy bottom. Return for a dip in the backyard pool and finish off with a nap in any of the comfortable rooms. Can walk to the store for ice cream and all your food needs, quiet and friendly local neighbors nearby. The owners are very helpful with local information, restaurants and excursions nearby and plentiful.
Owner response:Thanks, Rob and Jen, Maya and Ashton, We are glad that you enjoyed your first time in Baja, and that you enjoyed La Casa Chile. We hope to see you back here in the future. If you spend more time in the future, you may get to take time out from the sea and sand to spend a day in La Paz. Nope, the beach is best ( other than the fish tacos). John and Lorraine

La Casa Chile has a gap in comments as it was not available during the years 2006, 2007, and 2008. The following postings were from our printed guest book prior to 2006.

We highly recommend Casa Chile. We stayed for two weeks during March and had a fantastic time. The local people are very friendly. The beach is steps away and very quiet. We had a blast on the ATV's that you can rent in town. The best part was the fantastic patio and palapa in the backyard. The Haldeman Family

Ideal getaway, commodious and comfortable, with a marvelous patio. John and Lorena were attentive and considerate hosts. Beach uncluttered, relatively unpeopled and very readily accessible. Would return in a New York second but it is booked for months..... for good reason. Rick and Kathy and Gary

Just returned from a wonderful vacation at La Casa Chile. The only downside was leaving. I will put this on my "Must" list for anyone looking for a relaxing place to go on a vacation. The palapa out back was heaven. I loved our stay.

We had a fabulous time at Casa Chile when we stayed there with friends. The house has a beautiful outdoor back patio where you can relax in the pool, or hang out under the palapa. The house was clean, spacious and we felt right at home. The town is great, too. Not too touristy, but with tasty restaurants and really fun ATV and fishing excursions. We'll definitely be back.

Just got back from La Casa Chile and had one of the best trips to Mexico ever. The home is spacious, quiet and relaxing. The outdoor deck was unbelievable with the sink, fridge and barbeque off to the side and a large Polynesian style roof to sit under affixed with a table underneath. The beach out front is great, no rocks or big surf and fish jumping about 40 yards offshore. A walk to town is about 30 min along the beach but there is a mini market and a few restaurants just up the street.

I recently stayed at La Casa Chile with some friends and had an amazing experience. The home is very comfortable with a large kitchen and has a great outdoor patio where you end up spending a lot of time under the palapa. The towns people were incredibly friendly and the seafood was excellent. Must try the fish tacos! The beach was also a highlight of our trip.

This place was heaven! Wake up and enjoy your morning coffee and a book on the back patio with a view of the ocean. Cool off under the palapa at noon or just hop down to the beach for a swim. The beach is very beautiful , an occasional quad passes by and the local kids play in the surf. The kitchen has all the tools and dishes you'll need to cook meals in. The rooms are clean and welcoming, making the house a great place to hang out, too. But really, with the beautiful palapa just out the back door ............ Check out La Casa Chile!! You won't be disappointed.

What a great location for a vacation! We spent many evenings under the palapa enjoying a cool beverage from the outdoor fridge and watching the Sea of Cortez with the sunset colors on it. It was definitely our favorite place to relax. We appreciated the clean and spacious accommodations, and the fact that there were enough bathrooms for three women! The washer was also a definite plus. We truly enjoyed staying at La Casa Chile and hope to return again soon. Thank you.
