This may well be the best deal in Fiddler's Cove; we are not looking to make a lot of money, but we do want to see the place used and cared for. Fiddler's Cove is a family-oriented condo community located in the attractive Folly Field neighborhood of Hilton Head Island. It is an ideal location for beach-lovers, tennis-lovers and those who just want to sit by the pool with a good book. On the other hand, if you like shopping, nightlife, restaurants, wildlife viewing, kayaking or offshore fishing, they are all there and historic Savannah and charming Charleston are readily accessible.
Our villa is clean, attractive and has a very well equipped kitchen. Both bedrooms have been recently redecorated. It is located within a gated community with 24-hour security and is close to good restaurants and entertainment venues. The features that will be most appreciated by the kids are the pool just outside the front door and the beach just a couple of hundred yards down the road. This is not just any beach -- it is one of the widest, longest and most beautiful on the on the southeast coast.

Year Purchased: 1998
We are retired residents of Roswell, Georgia, an Atlanta suburb. Originally from Canada, we moved from Montreal to Appleton, Wisconsin in 1978, where Tom was on the faculty of a graduate school affiliated with Lawrence University. When the school moved to Atlanta to become associated with Georgia Tech, we followed.
Why the Owner Chose Fiddler's Cove
Shortly after moving to Atlanta in 1989, we discovered and fell in love with Hilton Head Island, and spent many relaxing and enjoyable mini-vacations there. Wanting more, we embarked on a search for a vacation property that was attractive, well located and within our price range. Fiddler's Cove met all these requirements. Ever since then, we have enjoyed spending time there and sharing it with others.

Here are some reasons to consider: We offer you the best combination of price and value; we are on the top floor (no footsteps above); we are very close to the swimming pool, just a few yards away; our balcony affords a pleasant and restful view among the liveoak treetops; a small collection of CDs, DVDs, books and magazines is available for use by our renters; the kitchen is unusually well equipped; and our on-site caretaker, who is also responsible for cleanliness of the unit, is very conscientious.
We enjoy easy access to the beach, but this is only one of the many attractions of Fiddler's Cove. We like the quiet atmosphere, the ready availability of onsite pools, spa and tennis courts, and the natural beauty of the island and surrounding areas. We (and our renters) have access to an off-site health and fitness club, as well as on-site racquetball courts. Hilton Head's renowned shopping areas and restaurants are within easy driving distance.

I just wanted to tell you thank you and that we had a wonderful time at HHI and Fiddlers Cove. We truly felt very much at home and comfortable in your villa. The amenities were more than enough and the family atmosphere on the premises was wonderful. We had our morning coffee on the balcony and spent our days at the pool, riding bikes and at the beach. We had dinner in the villa every night except one and watched movies in the evening.
