  Found this condo on VRBO website. Have to say it was everything the photos & info claimed and more. I had chosen the small town of Brookings, OR as a good halfway place to meet for a family reunion and was not disappointed. The beach here is very scenic with a great view right out the back patio. Gated access to condo felt like small private community. The place was quiet and grounds well kept with a winding path leading to the beach. That path not good for handicapped though, must climb over rocks & logs. Condo size & set up was perfect for our needs. Condo was decorated & furnished tastefully. Bed were comfortable, kitchen well provided with thought taken to what a guest might need. Condo manager was friendly & nice to work with. Can't wait to plan a return trip.

  We loved the quiet building, the awesome view of the ocean right out the window. Thank you Kirsten for all the extra touches you have made to make this condo feel so homey not sterile! You have decorated very tastefully and the beds werevery comfortable. Everyone slept well. We hope t be back again!

  Thank you so much for opening up your condo/home stay. Your condo is BEAUTIFUL! We got to see whales migrating, and their spouts for the first four days! Something you wish see in your life time and we HAS THE BEST VIEW HERE!so we thank you so much for these memories, the view and the BEST play spot right at out feet! We will be back soon!

  Two sisters living in California and Oregon meet with husbands for an old fashioned Christmas. The feeling of home that you gave us Kirsten, was wonderful. We even watched "Christmas Story" together. Thank youfor providing all the pans, dishes, utensils , basics that we needed to cook a wonderful Christmas dinner, etc! The condo is so tastefully decorated,and you have thought of just about everything Kirsten, to really make your guests comfortable and feel "right at home" while they are staying her. The view from the condo was fabulous, you were right Kirsten, that the pictures on your VRBO website just don't do justice to it! I don't think any photograph can do justice to this view and your condo's location. Thank you for opening your home to us, we hope to return soon, and it will definitely be back to your condo.

  We had a wonderful week long vacation which included five family members from Washington, Alaska and Minnesota. The condo was so nicely stocked and comfortable beyond any place we have ever stayed before. Honestly, you couldn’t ask for anything more. A very nice path to the beach below. An adventure every time we walked down. We spent our time mostly checking out the Redwoods (Jeremiah Smith Redwoods and Avenue of the Giants, south of Eureka). Truly spectacular. A drive up the coast to Port Orford to see the Lighthouse was very worthwhile and scenic. Loved watching the pelicans in Brookings harbor and the sea lions/seals on the docks in Crescent City. Can’t wait to make the trip again someday. Thank you Kirsten and Chuck for sharing your beautiful condo with us. You made our stay extra special and you really do have a gem of a place.

  Our family stayed at this condo for 2 nights. It was spacious and well-equipped. With 2 bedrooms and bathrooms, it gave us plenty of room to spread out. The living room was very comfy. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The view was amazing. We walked down to the beach and did some bird and seal watching. The owner was responsive to all inquiries and pleasant to work with. If you stay here, try the new Thai restaurant located just a few minutes away. The food was good and had many vegan options. I would recommend this condo for your stay in Brookings.

  Our group of five adults (two couples, plus one single traveler) thoroughly enjoyed our three-night stay at this condo just north of Brookings. The property was very clean and well-maintained, and the owners were extremely helpful in answering our questions. We very much enjoy cooking and found the kitchen to be well equipped with high-quality cookware, good knives, cutting boards, and everything else we needed. It was just a short walk to the beach, where we saw tidepools, sea lions, and more. Having obtained shellfish harvesting licenses, we wanted to harvest mussels. Though we did not find the beach near the house to be the right place for that, we were able to find a great harvesting spot by driving about three minutes north (to the first beach access spot within Boardman State Park). It was helpful to have a good wifi connection in the condo, as well as the TV's and DVD player. Even though one of the three days we spent there was so stormy we decided to just stay put in the condo, we were comfortable throughout our stay.

  We had a great time in Brookings with our group of four adults, two kids, and a baby. This condo is very clean and comfortable and the views are AMAZING. The complex itself was secure, well-maintained and very quiet...we hiked down to the beach at least three times and had it all to ourselves every time. Kirsten was great to work with-highly recommend this listing!

  We loved our stay at your condo. It was exactly as described on the VRBO website, except better! We plan to return every year and hope that we can still rent your condo. Your location in Rainbow Rock is great. We felt that we had so much privacy, peace and quiet! We didn't even feel like we were in a condo.Your neighbors were very nice and so quiet,.. the only noise we ever heard was the ocean waves below the condo!My wife appreciated your luxery bedding/towels/etc.and your IMMACULATE condo!

  Thanks for the timely return of our deposit refund.We had a nice mix of days/weather for hiking.Enjoyed the Chetco River trails or exploring the beautiful beach and tidepools just below our condo.Comfortable also just to stay inside at the condo and watch any storms that arose!We have stayed at quite a few vacation rentals.Yours was the best equipped and cleanest that we have stayed in!Every kitchen utensil that we could have wanted and more!We plan to rent your condo again!Thank you so much!!

  This condo was absolutely wonderful! We have rented private vacation homes for years, and this rental was with out a doubt, the best! Just a few words to share our "kudos" for how clean and well maintained the condo was. My wife is a gourmet cook, and commented several times on how well equipped (and clean) the kitchen was.We were able to cook well and felt very much at home!All of this was on top of the million dollar/best view EVER! Great find and vacation buy for us! Thank you so much!

  Thank you Kirsten for your prompt refund of our Security Deposit. We had a wonderful time at the condo. SPECTACULAR VIEWS,beach combing,...all the comforts of home! We had a great time meeting up with family at our reunion but we were always ready to come back to "our home" to unwind. You have done a great job putting any and everything a guest could need or want at the condo. My wife couldn't get over how clean/absolutely immaculate the condo is kept/maintained. We will return regularly!

  Stayed here for 5 nights over the holidays in 2011. Very nice. As others have noted, the view is incredible--jaw dropping as you walk in for the first time. Also as others have said, Kirsten is very helpful and has everything (and i mean everything) for you in the condo. Best VRBO i've stayed in and have stayed in a bunch. Well worth booking if you are going to be in the area.

  We really enjoyed staying at your condo and were so happy that we found this rental. We used the private trail down to the beach when ever we could. The best tidepools in the area were right below us! Everything at the condo was perfect,..we felt at home, and appreciated all the amenities placed in the condo by you. The internet service was great! Our teenagers actually had a GREAT time. The condo was spotless!!! This was the best vacation rental we have ever had!

  Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful home in "God's Country" with us. Our stay here was magical. The efforts that you have made to make guests comfortable were so appreciated. Thank you for your hospitality.All the help/patience you gave us, Kirsten was amazing. We appreciated the two sets of binoculars and Oregon Guide Books and used them EVERY DAY! The family board games brought us together every night. We played/laughed as a family. My kids said they didn't miss their video games!

  The view was spectacular! The property was fairly well maintained and was filled with all the comforts of home. The unit was very clean. We had a small glitch with the wireless computer access while we were there but Kirsten was very responsive, helpful and apologetic.

  This was a fabulous place to call home away from home. And the views were the best. You could sit out on the balcony and enjoy the sounds of the ocean all day. Nice and quiet, and everything you could want to cook in the kitchen, and eat with the best views. Kirsten was very nice, and very accomadating, and helpful in helping us make our stay great.   Perfect vacation! The view and beach below was spectacular! We spend two whole days just looking at the tidepools,...we were the only ones down on the beach and tidepools,..except of course for the resident Otter, and Sea Lions. Many thanks to Kirsten and Chuck for all their help and sincere concern to make us as comfortable as possible. The condo was very clean,...we were pleasantly surprised at all the extras that were here,....our daughter was happy for the Popcorn maker,...my wife loves Scrabble,..hated to leave her game at home,..and was happy to find it here,..and our son enjoyed the I-pod decking station/speaker/reading light on the end table by the bed! The view from the condo is with out a doubt THE MOST BREATHTAKING BEAUTIFUL view we have seen, let alone had the opportunity to stay/wake up to it for a few days! We really appreciated how well equiped the condo was,....and how helpful the owners, Kirsten was in terms of making sure that we were comfortable.   We had a wonderful time staying at your beautiful condo with the fantastic view!!! The private beach below was definitely the best along the coastline! Loved all the decor you have in the condo & how fully stocked it was with so many necessities - so much more basics available than most other vacation rentals we've stayed in -- very much appreciated!   We could not have picked a better time to be here-full moon, beautiful sunsets, and gorgeous surroundings! Thank you so much for sharing your space with us. We are so sorry to leave this magical spot, and will take home wonderful memories. We plan to make this an annual get away! The kitchen was very well stocked, the bedding and pillows, towels very nice/comfortable,...much nicer than any rental we have ever had in the past. Retirement is wonderful to have time to be in this wonderful Condo overlooking this outstanding view of the Oregon Coast.   The view from here is spectacular! We came during a storm and the waves were spectacular. Today, the weather has been wonderful, sunny all day, and not a cloud in the sky. The condo is so comfortable, it has everything that you need. Kitchen is well equipped. Beds and linens very nice. Very, very clean! Everything was wonderful! Dan and Kathie Yreka, Calif.

  We had a wonderfful time here and loved the Condo. The view is unsurpassable! Your unit was furnished very comfortably and equiped with everything and then some. My wife appreciated all the games you have available for guests and was happy that you happen to have our family's favorite ones as well. Also, my wife asked me to be sure and make a comment about how imaculate and well kept the condo is maintained. We always bring our own pilllows when we travel and we actually left them in our car and used the ones in the Condo. Again, my wife asked me to comment on the quality of the bedding,pillows, and bath towels. She checked the pillows and found them to be plush, new condition and in pillow protectors and said "thats how everyone and hotels should always do it" Personally, I enjoyed everything and liked the extended Cable Package you have with your TV, I got to watch alot of movies. The internet was fast and we even got wireless access sitting on the balcony. Thanks again, we'll be back!!!

  We had such a wonderful time in Brookings and YOUR CONDO WAS THE HIGHLIGHT! It was so comfortable, we could have stayed a month or more! We really like Brookings too. The people are nice and friendly and its easy to get around. You are so lucky to call it home. The other couple that stayed in the other Rainbow Rock Condo I rented, liked yours much more! Thanks for letting us stay there and we hope to do it again.

  You are truly blessed to own such a slice of heaven!! The beaches down here are outstanding. We hit all the waysides and short hikes to the north of here-we recommend the Indian Sands and Secret Beach! But boy, we sure got a workout climbing up and down to those beaches! Speaking of which,we were so awed by Rainbow Rock and its sea cave! Heidi went ape over the geology-its made of banded chert (a type of chalcedony). Best rockhounding is at the gravels under the highway bridge at the Pistol River wayside northy of here- lots of jaspers in all colors, and "jade" if you're lucky. Oh, and the dive restuarant on the dock at Port Orford has good seafood and nice people!!! Thanks again for sharing your lovely Condo!!

  We had a wonderful time! Beautiful view!!!! We loved it and the weather was amazing!!! Thank you for a great place to spend some time away. We hope to visit again next year for a longer stay!!!

  We had a wonderful time and couldn't have asked for a nicer,more comfortable place to stay. The fabulous view and the location was a 10. We think the view from your Condo is THE most fabulous breathtaking view we have EVER seen, and probably will never see another to top this. We certainly appreciated how clean and immaculate the Condo was. Your effort to make your guests comfortable in every way made this the best VRBO destination we have stayed in. Top of the line towels, Bedding, the extras like a well stocked kitchen all were greatly appreciated! We hope to return and stay for a longer visit next summer,..thank you again!!!

  Staying in your Condo has been a big "Wow" factor to our trip. When we walked in to the living area and saw the view,..it was stunning!! Your Condo is so comfortable,restful and spotlessly clean! We enjoyed walking down to the beach and exploring and having the beach to ourselves. Fulfilling a long time desire in going to see the giant Redwoods and we were NOT disappointed. One of our trips was to Port Orford,1 hour North of Brookings,had lunch at the Redfish, go there,..we gave it a 10. Went to Cape Blanco Lighthouse at Port Orford, also well worth a visit. Brookings is a lovely place. Another good place for food, Zola's Pizza. Thanks for sharing your beautiful Condo with us!

  We had a wonderful week here in Brookings. Thank you for the blessing of your Condo here at Rainbow Rock. It is really comfortable and the view is spectacular! Robert went down to the beach twice a day, saw lots of star fish in the rocks and collected Agates. Had a great day in the Redwoods. Visited the Trees of Mystery, really enjoyed the train ride, view was great,..well worth worth the $14.We had a ride up the coast to Port Orford and had lunch at the "Red Fish Restaurant 10 out of a 10. Our week in Brookings has truly been enjoyable. We are resteed,relaxed, and refreshed,ready to resume a normal life. We really appreciated how well stocked the Condo was in terms of all the extras to make visitors more than comfortable and "at home". Once again, Thank you for sharing your Condo with us.

  We had a great time last week using your condo. We fell in love with the Brookings area and the view from the condo was second to none. I hope to go back in the near future and will consider using the condo if available at the time we choose to go. Thanks again.

  The Condo pretty much had everything we needed. Thanks for having it so well stocked. We have rented other rentals through VRBO and they were NO WHERE as neat,clean,and well stocked! We had a great time as a family. Thank you again!

  We had a wonderful time! We visited the Redwoods and various beaches. Best agate beach-north of Gold Beach in POrt Orford-off 9th St. on Agate Beach Rd. The hike to the beach below the Condo is worth the hike to visit the tide pools and cave. We enjoyed sitting on the patio watching and listening to the waves. The Sea Lions sun bathing on the rocks in front of the Condo were fun to watch. The view is FANTASTIC!,..exactly as pictured on your site-no disappointment there! We visited the Arts Festival at the Brookings Harbor on Sunday and had a great Clam Chowder there at the Sporthaven Marina Bar/Grill. We will have some great memories. Thank you!!

  This is our first trip to BEAUTIFUL Brookings, and won't be our last! There is so much natural beauty here to see, and we could have never left the Condo and stayed happy. Everything was more than we expected. Thank you very much, Gary and Carol Jones
