Casita del Mar is a lovely, romantic, one-story condo/cottage in the beautiful village of Corona del Mar. Perfect for a single or a couple. The southwestern decor and comfortable furniture make this home warm and appealing. Perfectly located. Beaches andl public golf courses just minutes away. Walk to Starbucks and an assortment of restaurants. Movie theaters are less than 5 minutes away.
The front and back patios are spacious with pots of succulents, citrus, roses, and begonias. The condo is sheltered by a large Bougainvillea in the front and a Burmese Honeysuckle in the back. A small outdoor table in front is perfect for morning coffee and there is a full sized outdoor table and umbrella in back.
The cozy office/library has a comfortable reading chair and Wifi. Settle in with a good book and enjoy.
The most common property in Corona del Mar is a two-unit condominium....one in front and one in back. This condominium is a front condo... a free-standing cottage. Designed with a Mediterranean flair, the architect added many attractive and unique details which you will appreciate; a red tiled roof, small window alcoves, a window seat, the skylights, the beam and reed ceilings.

Why the Owner Chose Corona del Mar
I live in Northern California but have family and friends in this area. I've always enjoyed coming here and appreciate the great weather and abundance of activities. The ocean is just minutes away and I love being near the sea. This is also a great place to stay if you have business in the area...minutes away from OC business centers. A homey atmosphere after a day at work.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Corona del Mar is a village just south of (but part of) Newport Beach. My condo/cottage has a unique location for visiting and enjoying all the area has to offer. John Wayne airport is 10 minutes away. There is a Starbucks less than a 5 minute walk from me...and many restaurants within walking distance. The ocean and beach are a 10 minute walk straight down Goldenrod. Balboa Island and Bay are a 5 minute drive. Laguna Beach and Crystal Cove are just a few minutes drive down the coast. I love the convenience of my location and all the sun filled activities available here.
If you are a golfer and are desiring a unique experience, the new Pelican Hill Resort is just down the highway. Expensive but fabulous. There are also public access golf courses in the area.
If it is a spa that calls you, you might also try the Pelican Hill Resort or drive a few minutes south to the Montage in Laguna Beach. Good for the soul!
Owner's Map of Corona del Mar
I raised my family in Laguna Beach and my son and his family still live there. The Coast is a very friendly and relaxing place to live or to visit. The long coastline with so many different beaches and parks is a great joy. Anyone who likes the sea and beach activities will be delighted to be here. The variety of restaurant experiences from the very casual to the sublime is remarkable...and quite a few are within walking distance. This is special to me.

We had an absolutely splendid time at your Casita. We enjoyed everything about it--the beautiful gardens in front and back, all your pictures, photographs, and sculptures, the library, the light, and all the other amenities! I hope that we will have an another opportunity to visit the Casita in the future.
