This quaint mountain cabin has a very Colorado Rustic feel with it's vaulted wood ceiling and wood walls. A wood stove sets the mood and a wall of windows bathes the room in sunlight letting in the quiet mountain vista!
A perfect Get-away, this 800+ square foot home has a main level bedroom with a queen sized bed and the upper level loft has another queen bed. In the vaulted living area is an additional fold-out futon for larger groups.
Newly redecorated - the granite counters and the tile and engineered wood flooring, set a tone of high-quality. There is a full bath on the main level and both a clothes washer and dryer (dryer in basement).
Decorated in Colorado-style, this cabin is cozy and quiet so you can truly escape the pressures of your life and retreat to the Rockies. Step out your door and you can walk through a variety of natural settings - down to the creek, up the road to Roosevelt Ridge and it's Continental Divide views, or down the street to the National Forest trail system.
Black Bear Lodge provides a remote feel while still having easy access and close proximity to all our region has to offer. Located approximately half-way between Nederland and the gaming communities of Black Hawk and Central City, it's everything you expect in a Colorado mountain cabin, and now includes basic phone service, high speed internet access and satellite TV! Pets are allowed at Black Bear on a limited basis and BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT ONLY. An extra pet fee is charged.

$125 security deposit within 1 week of booking.
50% advance rental payment due with security deposit.
Balance due by 14 days prior to arrival.
$75 cleaning fee, up to six nights. Increases with longer stays.

I stayed two nights in the cabin and it was wonderful. Close to Denver but still feel like you have gone far away. It has rustic charm yet modern upgrades and great kitchen. The location was perfect - quiet and private yet close to Nederland and Golden Gate Park or Black Hawk. Loved the wrap around deck and charming decor and it was nice having a TV. I had no cell service with T Mobile but there is a landline phone in the cabin. I would definitely recommend this cabin for a quick get away or a week stay. (It even has washer and dryer). I plan on coming back here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed sitting outside listening to the honeybees and a stream below. We got rain showers each day, then got to enjoy a lovely rainbow. We would stay here again!!! I absolutely recommend it!
