This is a quiet, cute 600 sq ft cottage, with a mountain view, close to downtown Murphys. Located on seven acres, pets okay with additional deposit - large kennel onsite if needed.
This is a great place to stay. It is perfect for a single person, a couple, or a couple with small children. For two couples, it would be cozy, however there is a aerobed available. Lots of room for peaceful walks, you can bike to town, but keep in mind it is in the mountains and the road is steep in places, as well as you can visit the local wineries. On Saturday, the winery 2 miles down the road serves free BBQ, has a great pond for kids and adults kids to feed the fish, with a beautiful picnic area. We are 15 min. from Ironstone if you are coming for the concerts and easy to get to downtown Murphys for the Grapestomp, Irish Days, or just walking in town and having a great lunch. The peace and quite of this cottage and the view from the deck are wonderful. We use the cottage ourselves as a getaway even though we live in Murphys downtown.

Why the Owner Chose Murphys
We love Murphys, and live in town, but enjoy visting the Cottage for a quite get away. It is located just 4 miles from town, but is at the foot of the Sierra Moutians. Hiking, biking, canoeing, fishing, kayaking, concerts at Ironstone, great restaurants, and art galleries and wine tasting just 4 miles from downtown Murphys. This cottage is a wonderful - serene get away. Really quite and peaceful.
You can go on the Zip line, repel down into the Caves or Spelunk through them - Really Fun
Great simple,short walk, a little steep by worth the walk. Cave at the bottom, under the bridge. Kids tube through in the summer.

My daughter loves just running around the property and saying hi to the pigs one of renters is rasing. She also has lots of toys and games for kids of all ages to play with. Enjoy your stay!
