7 Wonderful day for 8 Amazing Women

Just got back from a week of heaven at Casa Wagner. Originally billed as a trip to celebrate some milestone birthdays, what we ended up with was a relaxation that can NONE of us has experienced in our lifetimes, or at least since the birth of our children. Casa Wagner is so beautiful and comfortable and bright and cheery! But, between the amazing patio and lush patio chairs and the beach that is just feet away, our group spent almost NO time inside at all. We slept and prepared meals and drinks there, the only exception was one day it rained too hard to spend our time outside. Even then we moved the patio chairs up under the roof and tried! The town of PM is equally amazing. Quaint, clean, safe, interesting and incredibly welcoming to tourists. The food we found in the MANY restaurants was also wonderful. Fresh and local! Because we are all moms and we were trying to "get away" from it all, we did hire Nina to cook for us. Eduardo picked us up from the airport in Cancun and took us to Costco on the way to the house. We bought enough meat for Nina to make us 4 meals. Her Mole (my b'day request) nearly made me cry it was so delicious. Nina used local spices and her own creativity to feed us delicious, healthy meals. The cost was $200 for 4 meals, including the tamales she had there for us, piping hot the night we arrived. This works out to about $6/person/meal. We had SO many leftovers that we ate them for breakfast and lunch every day and still had to leave some. <3 LOVE NINA! Roberto met us at the house the night we arrived as well and gave us a run down of how to find things and where etc. He was very accommodating and kind. Snorkeling right off the beach was lovely but we were also picked up by a local boat right in front of the house and taken out to the reef to snorkel. Like NOTHING any of us has ever experienced. The guides were patient and very informative as well. I just cannot recommend this location enough. Going back with my family (we hope) in July! Wishing I could just be there NOW! Snorkel at the reef ***** Jungle Spa *** Loved the massage but not exactly what we expected. Massages by Tania ***** Tania came to the house and gave the best massages! Recommend the water massage. WILL do that when I go back! Walked to town EVERY DAY ***** Loved it there. Beach Bar ***** Wonderful ambiance and close. STRONG POURS! HAHA!

Our family spent Christmas break in this wonderful home. We have been spending Christmas break in a beachfront location for the past 25 years and I must say that this was probably the best equipped home we have rented. All the pots, pans, plates, coffee maker, microwave, etc. in great shape, plenty of glasses and silverware. On site manager was very attentive and helpful. The house was immaculate and totally updated and EVERYTHING WORKED, always a plus in Mexico. Snorkel gear was excellent, kayaks were a little long in the tooth but totally functional for the 1/2 mile paddle out to the reef. Snorkeling right out front on the beach as water was quite clear, many more fish out on the reef however. Very gentle sandy beach great for kids. Beach was groomed every morning, eel grass removed leaving a very clean fluffy sand. Beach to the north was long, wide, and generally soft. You can walk for over an hour north and about 15 minutes south into the town of Puerto Morales. Renting a car from Cancun isn't necessary but it was useful as Puerto Morelos has only one small supermarket and a mini mart. No outstanding restaurants in Puerto Morelos but all ok. There were a couple of really good lunch places though. All in all I highly recommend this home and Puerto Morelos for a kick back holiday.

We stayed for 1 week in November 2010 at Casa Wagner. It was absolute paradise for our family of 7. It really truly is right on one of the most beautiful white sand beaches we have all ever seen. The water is so blue and calm. We even let the younger ones (9 and 10) play in the water and the sand while we watched from the comfy lounge chairs on the patio without any hesitations. Plenty of water toys to choose from for all. Good snorkeling, a kayak. The kitchen had everything we could think of and there were plenty of fluffy towels for all. The floor plan allows for plenty of privacy for each room even with a group which was nice, we had ages 9- 73 and in addition the home is wheelchair accessible, and a ramp takes you 15 feet right down to the beach. I cannot thank the Wagners enough for sharing their home with our family, it meant so much to us. We did not want for anything, Roberto and Selena (the hosts) checked in with us on occasion to make sure we had everything. Plus dealing with the Wagners was a breeze, very nice, friendly and straight forward. The only problem now will be when we go down as a couple, we'll want to rent the entire Casa for just the two of us! :) Beautiful, you cannot imagine until you arrive and are in awe of the location. Again, thanks to the Wagner family for sharing their home, we will be back every chance we get! Never as often as I want to though.

My family and I recently traveled to Casa Wagner and were unbelievably speechless. First, the house is really ON the beach. You walk down a ramp to the most luscious white sand and blue water. Grab a floating device from the basket of goodies in the house, and lay around in the beautiful Caribbean for hours. There is a pool for the little fish, like we had, to swim around. The town was amazing, adorable and so welcoming. We ate many times at Dona Triny's. Excellent A++++++ authentic food. The house itself was immaculate. The most perfect house you could have imagined for a family of 6 trying to relax. The part of the beach the house is located on is quiet and clean. Cleaners come daily to clean the seaweed that has washed up and "fluff" the sand (as we called it). This was truly the most amazing house for relaxation and fun. Our family laid on the deck and read books in their amazing lounge chairs for hours. A short walk into town on the beach for necessities and back to the house for the insatiable view. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for fun, family time, alone time, relaxation and the best vacation I have ever had. The sap I am, cried when we left. Thank you Wagner's!

We had a great family gathering! The cousins, ages 5 to 12, loved playing in the pool, sand, ocean, and park. The house had excellent air conditioning, beautiful features, lots of seating and firm comfortable beds. The staff were courteous and helpful. No one ended up with a stomach bug from any of the food we tried in town or the water used to wash dishes in the house. We loved the small town community that welcomed the boys into playing soccer, the visitors that were eager to visit, and bargaining a bit with the salespeople. We would definitely go again and take friends and family as the house was so comfortable and the location perfect.
