Our wonderful home is 1 1/2 blocks from the beach, located on the Marine Terrace, one of the most charming areas of Cambria. The serene surroundings are enhanced by beautiful pines, the lull of crashing waves upon the shore, secluded beaches and fabulous walking trails.
We've made every effort to ensure you'll feel right at home while vacationing in Cambria. You can soak up the sun on the front deck, take a relaxing hot tub in the tropical backyard - complete with tikis and torches and then cozy up by the fireplace in the living room. If you're inclined to actively enjoy the outdoors - take the kayaks out to seal rock or explore the coves along Hearst beach. If you'd prefer land-based fun, hop on our mountain bikes and ride on the local Fiscalini Ranch trails or take one of numerous scenic hikes.
Our two-story house features an upper-level kitchen, living area and master bedroom. There are two additional bedrooms, full bath and laundry room downstairs. All bedrooms have queen-sized beds.
The quaint village of Cambria, just six miles south of Hearst Castle, offers numerous gift shops, art galleries, antique stores, wine tasting rooms, coffee houses and award-winning restaurants.

Our family of 5 plus our trusty Golden Retriever had a wonderful stay at this house. The house is clean, updated with an interesting layout. Our kids loved the stairs. The kitchen is well stocked, there's a nice grill out on one of the patios. The family room is very comfortable. We loved hanging out by the fireplace (gas) playing games. The house is set away from town very near a small beach with some nice tidepools. There's a preserve of shorefront property to the north of the neighborhood which is great to run hike or bike on. We also had a great time exploring the town of Cambria with all its shops and galleries. We highly recommend a stay at this house and the area in general.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, pet owners, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My husband and I came here with our couple friends along with our 3 dogs and their 1 dog. We stayed for 3 nights in April. We drove up here from Los Angeles and were so happy to be in a quiet neighborhood. We were all awestruck by the beauty of the neighborhood and were so happy to see that it was so close to the ocean! Within 3 minutes walking time, you can walk down to the beach area. It's not a sandy beach but there are tide pools where you can explore and some rocks where you can take some gorgeous pictures. Also, within 5 minutes walking time, you can go to a trail which takes you on a nice walk with endless oceanview. I highly recommend doing this in the morning. The trail is also dog friendly. All the people in the neighborhood were so friendly, something that we weren't used to living where we live. The trail loops around and I would estimate it to be rougly 2 miles. Our dogs were so happy, but were knocked out and slept for the rest of the night. The house is also 5 minutes drive time into town where there are a lot of restaurants and shops. The whole city seems to be pretty dog friendly which I really loved. The house itself is very comfortable and nicely furnished and decorated. The kitchen is fully stocked as well as the bathroom. We made dinner few nights and enjoyed breakfast on the patio overlooking the ocean. I even heard seals in the morning on the patio one morning! There is a fenced in back yard, it's not too huge, but it was just fine for the dogs to roam around in. There were kayaks and mountain bikes in the garage. The house is 2 floors, with the main living area and masterbedroom being on the top floor and the 2 other bedrooms and bathroom being on the bottom floor. You have access to use the garage, which was a plus since our husbands had trailored their motorcycles. This house is perfect for families, couples, people traveling with dogs. We had a wonderful and relaxing time in Cambria. Can't wait to return!
