Our home was designed to reflect the "Lodge" when Adirondack Lodges and park lodges like Yosemite's were popular.
The giant antler chandelier lights up a distinguished great room featuring a magnificent wood-burning fireplace. Leather furniture and "reclaimed wood" custom pieces make the home beautiful for relaxing and reminiscing. The great room has huge windows and vaulted, beamed ceilings that bring the forest into the home. The wrap-around deck is perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine and has plenty of seating.
The kitchen is large enough for several people to cook in at one time and is great for entertaining. The upstairs suites--the "Bear Room" and the "Antler Room" are themed and furnished in custom-made beds, chests, benches. The Bear Room has a private balcony with bistro table and chairs. The master bedroom has a gas fireplace, French doors exiting to the deck and an adjoining office with French doors opening onto the deck. The master bath has a double shower. The downstairs powder room has a rustic flair with a bucket sink, custom counter and antiques. Hickory floors and cabinets on the main level.

One-time cleaning fee, $250, paid at registration.

$500 security fee due upon making reservation and is refundable.
$1500/week (6 nights)during regular season; $1950/week holidays.

Year Purchased: 2003
My wife and I love the outdoors and our neighbors at Brian Head, Utah. We enjoy getting together with them for dinner and for riding our ATV's and snowmobiles on day-long excursions. Brian Head is an unspoiled resort area adjacent to the Dixie National forest and we love to get away from the Las Vegas heat in the summer. The only traffic tie ups in Brian Head are the deer and wild turkeys.
Why the Owner Chose Brian Head
My husband, Paul and I designed and built this home in 2003. We chose the location because it was close to skiing and the Dixie National Forest. Our home has access to peaceful woods and yet you can drive your ATV or snowmobile straight to the forest. There are many trails and wildlife is abundant, including Stellar Jays which eat peanuts off the back deck and hummingbirds that flock to feeders in the spring.
The Unique Benefits of this Estate Log Home
We love the wrap-around deck on our house with its breathtaking mountain views as well as excellent views of the slopes at Brian Head. We enjoy our morning coffee on the deck and a glass of wine at night. You cannot beat the view of a starry night or a picnic on the south deck or the screened in porch.
