This cottage reminds us of the tucked-away retreats we found while living on the island of Oahu in Hawaii. You don't need an expensive vacation to Hawaii... come to our beautiful Crystal Coast and relax in this cute, tropical cottage. The Barefoot Bungalow is a private duplex (full downstairs) and is clean, comfortable, and steps from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. We are a third-row, corner lot location in a residential neighborhood of Atlantic Beach, NC. There is a full kitchen equipped with everything you need, plus a dining table and breakfast bar-- total seating for 8. The kitchen is open to the living area which has two comfortable sofas (one converts to a full sized bed), a large TV, and a DVD player. The master bedroom has a nice queen bed and is connected to the modern all-tile bathroom. The second bedroom has plenty of room, with 3 twin beds, a flat-screen TV and games/books for the kids. There is a shaded patio with a picnic table and wooden lounge chairs, a nice place to eat off the beach & out of the sun. Enjoy our gas grill in the evening and eat outside. We have a nice outdoor shower with hot/cold and great water pressure. In the laundry you'll find a washer/dryer available for your use, plus beach chairs and toys for your use! There is plenty of dining, shopping, and activities are nearby-- from the NC Aquarium down the road in Pine Knoll Shores, historic Fort Macon, the Maritime Museum in Beaufort, mini-golf and a water park in Emerald Isle, and much more.
