For fishermen and boaters there is quick, easy water access to both the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico thru nearby VACA CUT.
A short walk to the Cabana Club gives you access to a lovely sand beach and a large swimming pool, plus Inch Beach.

A 5 minute stroll to Sunset Park provides an unforgettable Keys sunset.

Why the Owner Chose Key Colony Beach
Because we have spent our life in the airline business, we have travelled most of the world. Key Colony Beach is still a very special place for us, which is why we bought a vacation home here. We still love coming here, and discover something new and delightful every time.
The Unique Benefits at this House
One of our favorite activities is the drive to Key Colony Beach, with the ocean views from the bridges, and the feeling of coming home to a place we can relax and enjoy the wonderful warm sunshine. Special times for us are morning walks to the coffee shop or evening walks to Sunset Park to see the unbelievable sunsets.
We have a lime tree on our property, and love the fresh limes for an afternoon drink.

We love the outdoors, and all the activities that this involves, boating, fishing, 'beaching', tennis and golf. Good restaurants are another of our favorites, whether eating at picnic tables or fine dining.

Stayed here with my wife and kids over thanksgiving. Nice place, clean, large. Nice set up in big family/dining/kitchen room. Good TV,satellite worked great. Nice big balcony. Big kitchen space, made turkey and lobster for Thanksgiving dinner just like the Pilgrims. Inch beach was 2 couple blocks away, very nice, we walked the kids there every day. great playground a few blocks away. Also went to the Coco Plum state park a few minutes’ drive, calm beach with lots for kids to explore. We rented a fishing boat from captain jacks for a couple of days, great easy docking at house. Two manatees came up to dock, resident fish under doc, resident white heron on doc, mullett jumping in canal all day, don't see that in Colorado. 2 feet of snow on ground in Colorado, and can only dream now about eating breakfast outside watching pelicans. We also brought kayaks, would launch from dock and then go exploring mangroves and fishing in the canals.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Lovely, clean and bright rental on Canal. Key Colony Beach is the perfect place for a vacation. The kids loved the cabana club pool. The men loved having the boat right outside the door. Every night we walked down to the point and watched the sunset. We will definitely come back to Margo's Place again.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with teenagers.

We stayed at Margo's in January. At first, I thought I loved it so much because we needed to get away. After a couple of days I realized that the place really is great. The views are wonderful! We enjoyed coffee on the balcony in the morning, and later wine before dinner. It is so clean, and had everything we could think to use. There is so much room that I think it could be a 3 bedroom and still have plenty of living space. There is plenty to do, and the club and beach are a short walk. I don't like to have to drive a lot while on vacation, and this place is so convenient to everything. I can't say enough good things about it. You have to check it out for yourself. I can't wait to tell my friends about Margo's.
