Wonderful family getaway

We found this cabin exceeded our expectations based on the pictures and details in the listing. All the amenities were in great condition and we were very comfortable staying there. The water in the lake is crystal clear and great for swimming. Our 16 month old daughter had a fantastic time wading, sitting and playing in the shallow water near the dock (very few rocks and no weeds!). Working with Steve was a pleasure, he was always prompt, courteous and professional. A great cozy cabin for our family getaway!

Enjoyed this experience thoroughly, otters, loons, sandy beach and clear water.

My wife and I spent a week over July 4th in this wonderful cabin on the water with our two young boys. The accomodations are first rate, I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone. We enjoyed the loons in the morning and evenings. We had otters swimming past the camp fire at the waters edge in the evening. Steve takes excellent care of this property and it shows.
Recommended for:Pet owners, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

Our family of four and our dog had a wonderful vacation last july of 2009. We did all the things in the description - swam, fished, boated, ate out on the picnic table, had a campfire and watched the sunset, listened to the loons, saw eagles up close, made s'mores, grilled a ton of meats from Louie's. It was perfect swimming for our young ones and the dog. The wood stove felt very good some mornings. The cabin was "rustic" but clean and comfortable and close to town if you needed something. We dont want too many people to know about this 'gem' as we want to come back! Steve the owner was great!
