  We stayed at Karen's home for 1 week this May. The home is well maintained. It is an excellent location. Short drive to Orlando attractions, restaurants, and shopping. The home was quiet. Didn't even know there were other homes. Neighborhood was quiet and clean. The home is well stocked. The pool heat worked well and the hot tub was a nice bonus. The Mickey theme is cute. Our 5 year old was quit pleased. Karen was excellent to deal with. She was quick to answer questions and was always helpful. I would recommend this home to those traveling with children or without.

  This house was Mickey themed all the way! Equipped with every amenity you'll ever need, this private home was the perfect spot for my family's much-needed Disney vacation! The neighborhood was quiet, the home meticulously clean, and the owners were incredibly friendly and easy to work with. I HIGHLY recommend this property and hope to visit again soon!

  This was my family's first time renting a property through VRBO and I was not sure what to expect, but have now decided this is the way my family with vacation in the future. The process was very easy and Karen was wonderful to work with. (thanks Karen!). The house was clean and well stocked. My 2 year old son LOVED all of the Mickey items in the house and was convinced this was Mickey's house and we were borrowing it. The pool was wonderful and we spent several hours enjoying it. The house is very close to all of the major parks yet far enough away it is very quiet and relaxing after a day in the parks.

  We loved this house! What caught my attention first as I was searching for a home to rent was the cute red Mickey twin room. Next, almost every review said " clean" " very clean" and they were exactly right. Everything was just like the pictures and very neat and clean. I think my favorite thing was the separate hot tub and the privacy of the pool! I spent a lot of time there. We would definitely recommend this home and would love to stay here again.

  Mickey house was just as it was shown in the photos. Our five year old granddaughter could not stop jumping up and down and clapping her hands. She said."Papaw would you buy this house? The hot tub and pool was a welcome sight,after a long day at the parks. Karen is a gracious host and answered all of our questions. Karen suggested we try Crabby Bill"s seafood restaurant in St. Cloud. We went two evenings in a row. If you are heading to the Orlando area,the Mickey House is a must. I have stayed on the parks before and that does not compare to Mickey House. Thanks Karen

  My family of four spent five nights in the "Mickey House" and my kiddies didn't want to leave. It was so nice to have all the comforts of home on vacation. After long days at the park, we all had plenty of rooms (and TVs) to stretch out and undwind. We didnt have to worry about parking spots or teens running up and down the halls all night! Also, Karen was super nice and accommodating as we made our travel plans. We would certainly recommend this house as a first option! Thanks Karen!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was exactly as described and very clean. Karen is excellent to deal with and extremely helpful, especially if you are going to the parks! We had the best time. Pool and hot tub were nice. It is located in a very nice, quiet community, about five minutes to the main drag with tons of restaurants and about 20 minutes from Disney. We would definitely recomment the property!

  Owner response: There are many different ways to get to Disney. Actually Disney Property is 30,500 acres or 43 square miles. That's why when you make reservations for Disney Property and you are using their transportation they always advise you to allow 1 - 1 1/2 hours to get there. I always use the back door to get to Disney Property, which is Rt 192. There are 7 traffic lights which can cause havoc on your travel and then again rush hour is a bummer. No one wants to be late for meals.

  My husband and I had heard about the "Mickey Slept Here" house and even saw the photos, but seeing it and staying there for a long weekend well exceeded our expectations. It was pure paradise from all the adorable Disney details and comfortable rooms with plenty of space to the fully furnished kitchen, open family room, huge TV and heavenly, heavenly, private heated swimming pool and hot tub. We would have been happy just to stay put, read, relax and float but there was also so much nearby to sample and explore. (And we didn't even step foot inside Disneyworld, Epcot, MGM or any of the other main parks) We ate at fabulous restaurants, including Crabby Bill's and House of Blues; took our first airboat ride to see gators, a snake, turtles and an eagle; hiked a wilderness trail and pretty walking trail right in the gaited development; the guys golfed, the women shopped at super outlets; took a step back in time at the "Crackers" homestead and one-room school house; visited the scenic Celebration community; and rode a tethered balloon at Disney Downtown for a grand panoramic view. Only wish I could rate the rental as more than 5-star! Thanks Karen and Dean for sharing your shangrila with us.

  Our family had a fantastic stay the week before Christmas. The villa is spacious, clean and had everything we could possibly need. The endless Mickey & Minnie touches that the owner has made, all around the villa are tastefully done and the children absolutely loved them. Cumbrian Lakes was a quiet, central, gated community very accessible for Disney and we will definitely be returning.

  Our family spent a week in Orlando and had the privilege of staying in the above Mickey Vacation Home. The house was even better than the pictures. The house is spacious, clean and comfortable. We would for sure stay in the house again when we plan our next trip to Orlando. Our children loved the Mickey paraphernalia; it made their trip so much more enjoyable. We give this house an A+++++. Thank you Karen for letting us rent your house and making this an easy process and helping make our vacation so much better. Thank you.
