Very happy with our stay. Impeccably clean, great amenities (like 7 bicycles and a w/d!). I would certainly stay here again, particularly in the off-season when the hotels across the street are quiet.

Again, a wonderful dream vacation for my family. This vacation house is spotless and convenient for older folks and dogs in its single floor construction. The cooking facilities are great since we eat-in several nights. The washer and dryer are useful since I wash half-way through the week. WOW, check out the cable TV (hi-def) line-up!!! Who could ask for more than a TV in every room! We like to relax, sit on the spacious front and back porches, walk around the neighborhood, read, drive around, nature walk and watch, shop, eat out, read, watch TV, nap, and sit on the beach. This house and Cape May are our dream vacation.

My husband & I loved this cottage on New Jersey Ave.! It was so comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was just as described- a block from the water and a nice easy walk in a neighborhood surrounded by big beautiful colonial & Victorian homes. We relaxed and had drinks on the wide porch every night and had fun people watching. We were so glad to have the opportunity to bring our dog, Mac, with us and made sure to take good care so others can do it too! Thank you to the Solers - they have an "Inn-Keepers" spirit and it comes through in many little details in their home. We hope to be back next year!

My sister and I had a grand time spending a few days in the Cottage. The porch was something to behold. The furniture outside was updated and the awning made the experience of leisure living a wish come true. I also liked the wrap around porch so that if you had children they would be able to go to the back and play and still stay off the grass that was well manicured. Eating out was a choice but the well equipped kitchen would delight any cook.. The Soler's thought of everything that you would need to have or you had forgotten to pack to make your getaway a time to enjoy. All that was NEEDED was the choices we as a family need to do to make memories. Thank you for such a wonderful well maintained, clean home. I will try to get back again soon. For all others whom come to the cottage enjoy the THAT PORCH....WE DID.....

Made a quick trip to Cape May and just stayed for the night, but it was so completely worth it. Perfect location...close to the beach and short walking distance to shops and places to eat. We loved riding the bikes provided there and sitting on the front porch watching the passer-byers was just perfect. Kevin was great to work with, as well as being very helpful and accommodating! Quick replies, as well. Would have loved to spent more time there!!

This was our first year renting the yellow cottage on New Jersey Avenue. We were fortunate to have good weather which made getting to the beach very easy everyday, being just one block from the beach. Enjoyed the huge front porch , with the comfortable chairs and table for snacks and drinks.The cleanliness of the home, washer and dryer in the kitchen, backkyard grill, clothesline for quick drying clothes, outside shower with warm water, multiple hangers in the closet and ample dresser space for clothes made for easy living, Also, any problems that occured ,Kevin and Debbie were quick to address and fix. We hope to rent again from Kevin next year at one of his properties. Kevin is very helpful,organized and easy to deal with. Loved it was pet friendly, our dog felt right at home, She loved the porch with all the bike riders and dogs going by.

We would highly recommend staying at this property. Kevin was so helpful and great to work with. The house was great for a family of four. It is within walking distance to shopping and mini golf. Beach is a two minute walk. House was very clean and well kept. We loved sitting out on the huge covered porches. It was also great having the bikes, beach tags, and beach chairs that came with the house. We really enjoyed our stay!!

We had the best week with our family. The location could not have been better, close to the beach and a bike ride in to town! The cottage was immaculate and very comfortable. We loved both porches with the awnings, spent a lot of time there. All details were thought of....beach tags, chairs, bikes and grill. Loved walking to Peter Shields Inn for a nice dinner..very romantic and food was excellent! Our kids enjoyed their first visit to Cape May, they want to return next year (ages, 20, 17 and 13)! Our Yorkie Chewy loved the front porch watching all the people and dogs walking by! Thanks Kevin for a memorable vacation.

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful beach cottage over Easter weekend. The property is very well-maintained. It's spotlessly clean, well-appointed and pet friendly! The location is great - just one block to the beach. The wraparound porch is a big plus and the perfect spot for enjoying your morning coffee or relaxing in the evening. Kevin, the property owner, was a pleasure to work with and he provided everything needed for a fun beach getaway (bikes, beach chairs, outdoor shower, etc.). I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing beach vacation in beautiful Cape May. I hope to return soon!

This little cottage is spotless. Everything you could possibly need is provided, except the linens. You should take your own on those. The kitchen has all the small appliances as well as a dish washer and washer and dryer. The bedrooms and living room all have beautiful flat screen tvs. The location is great, just a short walk to the beach. There are also several beaches that allow dogs. Walking thru the town is very enjoyable. We went in November which may not be the best time to go. Alot of the shops were closed, But the town Mall was open everynight with shops and places to eat. We also went outside of town a bit to the Cape May Winery. That was very nice and they also let you take you dog into the wine store. The owner is very nice and easy to work with. You will enjoy your stay in this nice house.

Mom and dad took me to the seashore with my sister Fibi. The place we stayed at was awesome! It was a one-story house which was good for my sister Fibi, Mom, and Dad ( who are senior citizens). We had comfy places to sleep and a big window to look out to the street. We loved walking in the neighborhood and along the beach by the lighthouse. Everyone was very friendly. Mom and Dad said it was the best vacation ever and that they were impressed with the professional level of securing this vacation rental. Personally I was impressed with the cleanliness!!! Squeaky clean, whoo-hoo! Mom did a lot of cooking so there were the things she needed in the kitchen to prepare my favorite foods! I rate this place 4 whoofs! Whoof! Whoof! Whoof! Whoof!

"Home Away From Home"

My husband and I along with our nephew and niece spent a beautiful week in August at the yellow cottage. The accommodations were perfect. Clean, close to the beach and the center of town. We were especially grateful that we could enjoy the week with our four legged friend. I think he enjoyed it as much as we all did. It felt like our home away from home. We loved it so much that upon returning home we immediately booked a weekend in October 2010 and a full week next October. Relaxed would be the best word to describe our time in Cape May at the yellow cottage. Kevin and Debbie are gracious, accommodating and generous hosts. Everything was truly perfect. Thank you to you both.

perfect beach vacation

We have rented homes in Cape May for several years and found this to be one of our favorites! It was just perfect for a "smaller group" and our family dog. We had 4 people and found the accommodations to be perfect for this size. The house was equipped with everything we needed and was in great condition. The bikes and beach tags were a great bonus. We were also very happy to be able to bring our dog along, as she has grown to love Cape May as much as we do. We were pleased with the cleanliness of the home. Being "pet friendly" we were not sure what to expect, but were very pleased with what we found. The location of the house is fantastic. The large porches make the house seem much bigger then it is. We found Kevin S. to be organized and professional to deal with. We were impressed to even get a courtesy call on our way to Cape May to tell us the house was ready for our arrival. We loved the house so much we have already booked our week for next year!!!!

Our vacation at this property was great. The house is in a great location, quiet, yet walkable to everything. The wrap-around porch was very relaxing and the outside shower is awesome. The house has everything you need and is very comfortable. Having my dog with me was great, we went for many walks. I will definitely return!

Owner response:There is nothing like relaxing on the porches with an early morning cup of coffee or coming back from the beach (only 3 minutes from your beach umbrella) to have lunch on the porch and then return to a nap on your beach towel. Or perhaps dinner on the front porch or for more privacy, dine on the rear porch.

This house was perfect for our family's vacation in Cape May. It's bright, cheerful, well-equipped, and clean. The location is great, easy walking distance (w/children) to beach, restaurants, shopping, and ice cream. The neighborhood is quiet at night. The Solers were wonderful to deal with, and very helpful in answering every question we had throughout the process. We would absolutely recommend this house to family/friends.

After staying in many houses at the shore, this house was a pleasure. Very clean, well furnished and a very short walk to the beach. We've already booked it for a week next year.

This house is updated and spotless. The owner's have obviously put time and money into making this house comfortable and making the most of the house space. The front and back porches are both large and comfortable. The inside is well equiped, spotless and confortable. If you need alone time, go into either bedroom and watch TV. Wireless works on the porch and is a great place to drink morning coffee, check email and hang out with the dog before hitting the beach. The bikes and chairs were new and comfortable. Lovely house with all the amenities for us and our dog. Love the location, so close to the beach and town. Took the great beach bikes for a tour around town and spend lots of time on the great front porch.

We were very pleased with our stay. The house was very nice and was very clean. The house was very close to the beach and the town. You could walk or ride the bikes provided anywhere near town.
