Year Purchased: 2003
As a former college prof in Florida I spent several years bringing student groups to Panama...touring the county and teaching ecology courses. Upon retirement my Panamanian wife and I decided to provide housing facilities for future college groups and then expanded to focus on the 'vacation rental' market. We are located 15 minutes from a deserted Pacific beach and 25 minutes from the mountain village of El Valle.
Why the Owner Chose Naranjal
There are many beautiful areas within Panama, but one may be quite isolated from the other. We scoured the country and settled in an area that we felt has tremendous logistical attributes. We are minutes from the Pacific beaches, less than a half-hour from the mountains, an hour from the Panama Canal, and only a little more than that from thriving Panama City. We have excellent restaurants nearby as well as shopping and medical facilities.
The Unique Benefits of this Apartment
Our apartment is comfortably appointed with satellite TV, air conditioning, screened lanai poolside, and a 2500 sq. ft. covered patio with hammocks. You may borrow our coolers for outings to the beach. You may use our BBQ grill for cookouts poolside. My wife and I will show you our 3-mile hiking trail that affords excellent birding opportunities when utilized at daylight.
