August 30-September 3 Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your beautiful home. I have not enjoyed a vacation so much as the time we spent here. Although our stay was short, it was so comfortable and peaceful. We will most definitely be back.

September 29-30, 2006 We really enjoyed the house, the kitchen was very well equipped. We also enjoyed our walks along your roads. This has been a nice quiet get away, and we really appreciate how accommodating you were.

I can't begin to tell you how nice it was to stay in such a wonderful home instead of hotel. We were able to get all of my family together for meals as well as sitting and just relaxing after the day was over. The house was immaculate and the surroundings were breathtaking. I will be back!

I can't begin to tell you how nice it was to "come home" to our own little home away from home while we were in Estes. The photos don't do the house justice at all. It was clean and quiet and had plenty of room everyone to be comfortable and not feel crowded. I will most definitely be back with my family. This place is a little jewel in the mountains.

June 2-10, 2006 This has been a very lovely 9 days! The beautiful scenery, weather and the comfort of having a very clean and warm home to stay in! We have so much enjoyed staying in your home. It is comfortable, attractive and has everything we needed. I'm going to save my dollars and try to get to your Hawaiian place. Thank you for everything and to your housekeeper, Tracy, who keeps everything so nicely. Penny Words cannot really describe how I feel about my wonderful stay in your comfortable, clean and beautiful home. The location is perfect. Estes park and RMNP are ideal vacation spots, so much to see and do. I spent hours on your lovely deck with all the scenery and wildlife, such a peaceful place. Thank you so much for sharing it. December 22-26, 2005 We so enjoyed our Christmas Holiday spent here, it was so peaceful and beautiful. We took lots of walks down to the bottom of Rambling Drive, that's a great workout! We saw lots of deer in the yard, it was neat. Thanks so much and Happy Holidays!

December 27-31, 2005 Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home. We had a peaceful break from life down the hill from here. We enjoyed building fires in the wood stove and watching movies every night. This was a wonderful way to close out 2005!

April 24-30, 2006 Thank you for giving us all the comforts of home. It is nice to be able to go exploring so close to the house and then be able to come back and relax. It snowed 4 days while we were here and made everything beautiful to look at and then it would melt by noon.

October 19-23, 2005 One of the most important features for us when we vacation is having the comforts of home. Thank you very much for opening your wonderful home and giving us the opportunity to enjoy Estes in such comfort. Your home is charming, beautifully decorated, comfortable, warm and cozy. I think you have thought of just about everything to ensure a pleasant and wonderful stay. We absolutely love Wilder Nest, the location and proximity, yet privacy. We were visited by elk every evening at dusk, magical and educational. We are sure to come back and stay and enjoy all seasons in Estes now that we have found such wonderful accommodations.

June 22-29,2005 Your lovely home far exceeded the expectations we had for it. We couldn't have picked a nicer place to stay with a great location. We've looked over the whole area and would gladly pick this home for our next visit. We really enjoyed all your lovely pictures and artwork, really made it "homey". This home worked out perfectly for our needs and use. Most evenings were spent playing games around your table. And we ended up eating almost all our meals here to avoid the hustle and hassle of restaurants. Thanks for a great family vacation.

July 1-4, 2005 From an e-mail after returning home: Thanks for letting us use your home. It is a really nice home in the perfect location for hiking in the park and going into town, but we still got to get away from the crowds. You had everything we could possibly need and we all enjoyed it very much.

June 4-9, 2005 We enjoyed our stay at your mountain home. It served as a well placed base for hiking and driving through the park. As well, the accomodations were warm and cozy. Hummingbirds swooped as soon as we filled the feeder. The stars at night were heavenly.

October 7-10, 2004 We have certainly enjoyed our stay in your lovely home. It is so nice to stay in such a clean and nicely decorated place. Your home is so well furnished and stocked and you have thought of so many things to make your guests feel at home. We sure hope to be back next year! (A later e-mail on October 19th) We were out to dinner our last night in Estes and as we were eating my husband said, "You know, I could easily come back here and stay a week or longer the next time". That certainly was music to my ears! So I feel confident in saying you may be hearing from us by next year.

September 25-October 1, 2004 What a great way to enjoy our vacation in Estes park by staying in your home. This was our first time to rent a home and we loved it. Each day had a super ending by coming back to WilderNest to relax. We hope to visit here again. (A later e-mail on October 8th) We wanted to let you know how much we all enjoyed staying at WilderNest. Everything was so comfy, convenient and just like being home. At least 40 elk came from the back of the house and worked their way around to the front. The bull elk was bugling! We'll be back in Estes Park sometime and surely will be wanting to stay at your home.

September 17-23, 2004 Same song, second verse. Again what a terrific vacation we had this week in Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. This is our 2nd time to enjoy WilderNest. Your vacation home is even lovlier and more comfortable than before with the new furniture and special touches. There were 5 deer guarding your property in the front yard area the evening of our arrival. Thank you again for your generous hospitality.

July 31,-August 6th, 2004 We had a terrific time staying at WilderNest. Our family reunion is here this week with many other family members staying at several homes in Estes Park. WilderNest was by far the warmest and most comfortable home of all. Thank you for your hospitality. We hope to return here some day.

June 26-July 3, 2004 From the moment we opened the front door until the time we left, we had a great time at WilderNest. Your house is so comfortable, nicely decorated and in a great location. We loved being able to see mountains in every direction. Our kids refer to the house as "Our Colorado House" and I wish it were!! They will miss playing on the rocks in the front yard and we will miss the comfortable beds. We saw lots of elk close to your house (about 50!). Providing the hiking books saved us money because we didn't need to buy any. (E-mail after leaving) We are still talking about the great pictures that you have on the walls in the house. I appreciate how nice you were through the rental process from beginning to end. It was much nicer than going through a realtor. We went to Manitou Springs after leaving your house and both kids wanted to go back to "Our Colorado House"! Thanks again for the A-1 accommodations and if anyone wants a referral, we would be happy to give one.

June 21-25, 2004 Thank you so much for the wonderful get away from our every day lives. It is so relaxing up here. As we opened the front door we all knew right away we were going to enjoy our stay here at WilderNest. Sitting on the deck every morning and evening was a great way to start our mornings and end our days. May 28-June 2, 2004 Peaceful, restful, and rejuvenating environment! The lovely homelike atmosphere made our evening returns after a fantastic day of hiking the Rocky Mountains a perfect experience. Thank you for the beautiful view and for arranging a full rainbow for us to enjoy after an evening rain. We look forward to returning next year and will contact you a little earlier for dates.

February 13-16, 2004 It was so nice to get away from the hub-bub of the busy world. We love to come up to peace and quiet and bright stars! The kids love to play on the rocks and create little homes there. We spent time playing games, doing puzzles, reading and just sitting on the deck watching the kids play. I love to hear the wind in the trees and smell the pines. Thanks for the oasis!

August 22-29, 2003 We greatly enjoyed our stay here! The home is so very lovely, fresh and clean, and comfortable and cozy! When we returned each day exhausted from our hiking adventures--what a special place to come home to--such peace and quiet and tranquility, like no where else we have stayed before on previous trips to Estes Park. I surely hope we will be returning here again to stay at Wilder Nest!

June 23-26, 2003 We all enjoyed our vacation here in beautiful Estes Park. Your accomodations were wonderful and very comfortable. We loved your location and scenery. There was something here to please everyone of all ages and your home made it that much more enjoyable. The many elk and deer sightings were great also.
