Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I had a great weekend at Whispering Pines. One of the best things was the kitchen. It was spacious and made it easy to cook meals for the entire group. We also enjoyed having the newer electronics-- we typically hook up our iPhones and play music all day. The beds were better than most rentals -- big and comfy. It's also in a great location-- close to Roslyn/Ronald, but you feel like you're away from it all. We will return!     Was everything we could ask for. During the recent fires in Wenatchee we needed to get out of town and this was just perfect. We were able work remotely from this house and then relax in the evening in the hot tub. Cooking was so easy in this awesome kitchen. This house is very well appointed and has a lot of extras you don't normally find. (board games, playstation, amazing kitchen) We would stay here again and enjoyed working with the property manager.

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

    Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group of 3 families included 4 children and this home was a good fit. Unfortunately the 2 children we had planned to have sleep in the loft were not happy there. The futon in their parents room worked better. Loft might suit older kids better. Very comfortable beds in each bedroom and an exceptional well stocked kitchen. We had a problem with the AC on our 1st night but thanks to immediate response by property manage,Derek, we had no further issues. Neighboring homes were somewhat close but not a problem. We enjoyed the pool at the rec center. Manager responded on 8/28/2012: Thanks Annette for staying with us at Whispering Pines. I was happy to get the AC back up and running the same day. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very pleasant stay for a family birthday party. House was in excellent condition and was well stocked. Only downside was that the propane fireplace did not work (propane was probably turned off somewhere)and the hot tub was stuck on a filtering cycle that left it running for long periods of time. Other than these two minor issues we had a great time and would certainly return. Manager responded on 6/28/2012: Thanks Ronald for great review. During the summer we turn off the gas fireplace to conserve propane. Thanks for the heads up regarding the hot tub. I have already notified my hot tub guy to take a look at that.     What a fabulous experience! After traveling for 2 days, we arrived at the "cabin" and it "felt like home." The cabin was very clean, organized, comfortable and well equipped. I would highly recommend Whispering Pines for a quite, out of the way getaway.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Derek of VR365 was very helpful and the house was nice for the price. However, the location (north of Ronald which is north of Roslyn which is north of Suncadia which is west of Cle Elum) is remote, and about 45 minutes from Snoqualmie Pass. If there's snow at the house, there's probably plenty to do nearby in the winter, but it rained while we were there and there wasn't much to do, so we went home a day early. I would recommend Derek, but we are not inclined to return to this house. Manager responded on 2/29/2012: Unfortunately the weather did not treat us well during your stay and all of Washington as well. Historically the Cle Elum area receives 2’+ feet of snow during the Holidays although it came a little late this year. Just two days after your departure it snowed 9” in one day. I wished you could have experienced that during your visit. Thanks for staying with us and I hope you can give it another try as it was just bad timing. Derek VR 365.

Although we came to enjoy what nature had to offer, it was also great just to stay inside....the fireplace made for a cozy afternoon and evening and the windows let in lots of natural light. There are plenty of board games available and a large screen tv for entertainment. We were a party of 6 adults and two toddlers and we never felt cramped for space. The kitchen was well equipped with state of the art appliances. We did get in a beautiful hike along the Cooper River, not too far of a drive away. We plan to be back...how fun it would be to be there in the snow!!! Next time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 2nd annual Whispering Pines summer visit. The house was perfect for our family, spotless and very comfortable. It is very relaxing staying up there. The young children can play around the house and ride bikes up in the cul-de-sac. The pool is a 5 minute walk and the lake beach is a 7 minute drive. The management company is a dream to work with and very attentive to your needs. We will continue to worth through them for our trips to the sunny side of the state.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 2nd annual Whispering Pines summer visit. The house was perfect for our family, spotless and very comfortable. It is very relaxing staying up there. The young children can play around the house and ride bikes up in the cul-de-sac. The pool is a 5 minute walk and the lake beach is a 7 minute drive. The management company is a dream to work with and very attentive to your needs. We will continue to worth through them for our trips to the sunny side of the state.

    Great cabin and loved the hot tub. Our kids enjoyed the pool at the activity center. Derek the property manager recommended Swiftwater Winery for dinner which was a great! We will be back for sure. Thanks

    The house was beautiful and comfortable inside and out. Very quiet neighborhood. Went snowmobiling (5 minutes away) and everyone had a fantastic time. Close to cute little towns, great hikes, snowmobiling. Really great!!

    Perfect mini family getaway vacation! Pictures were very well represented and we loved all the games and ping pong table. Beds were comfortable, loved the décor, and the kitchen was a treat . We rented snowmobiles for the first time and will be back again.

    The house was nice inside. They provided a portable crib(not just a pack and play), which was very nice. The upstairs was very hot, compared to the rest of the house. Hot tub was not balanced properly, but they came by and fixed it.The water in the hot tub was algae and need to be changed.They did do that the next day. Hot water for shower was cold and need to be turned up, they came and adjusted that as well. There was no small pots for cooking.They were prompt in attending to our needs. It was a very nice house with lots of games for the kids. These few problems provided a bit of a glich, but we were glad they were prompt in responding. We would recommend this property, provided these things are looked after before arriving. The listing description was accurate. Photos were accurate.Property was clean. They were great about early check in and late check out. We had a very nice time and went skiing while we were there.

    Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children.
