Our Victorian home was built in 1878. The home is solid and comfortable, with beautiful woodwork. The home is on Forest Avenue, a lovely tree lined street with many beautiful homes and gardens. Turn right out of our house and head for Lake Michigan, four blocks away (just long enough to get all the sand off on the way home).
Frankfort beach has a pier and a lighthouse. The beach has great swimming and walking along the bluffs. We are near Sleeping Bear dunes and National Park. The town of Frankfort is a year-round vacation area especially popular with Lake Michigan sailors and boaters. We are one block from town. Town has restaurants, library, shopping, a large marina, bars, a great bookstore, galleries, ice cream shops, a great grocery store, farmer's market, fish market.

David and I always said "why would anyone want to have a second home - unless it was in Frankfort!" We love the beach, the friendly town for walking around, the beautiful marinas, the canoeing, Interlochen, entertaining our friends and family in this big house with our big front porch.
