Casa del Alma (House of Soul) is a charming turn-of-the-century renovated cottage. The updated kitchen has everything you need to cook any meal. The furnishings, including high end mattresses, and a hide-a-bed sofa, are new. The large back yard offers mountain views of the Collegiate Peaks. Grill on the patio and watch the lights of Tenderfoot mountain come on at dark.
Walk to the river, galleries, retail shops, movie theater, library, grocery, restaurants and clubs. Many summer and winter activities are minutes away. Be sure and try world class fly fishing, bike & hike trails, kayaking and rafting. Relax in the hot-springs pool in Salida. Other spas and hot springs are less than an hour away. The Great Sand Dunes and the Royal Gorge are nice day trips. Ski Monarch and Cooper are a short drive away. You are about two hours away from eight other ski areas. Drive to Denver in three hours and Colorado Springs in two.
This is the "Banana Belt" meaning mild winter and perfect summer climates.
