Our home is located in Building 28 at The Ridge. It is one of the 2 best located buildings at The Ridge. Our condo is a 2-bedroom, 3 bath unit on the ground level. The master bedroom contains a king size bed with an adjacent private enclosed lanai. You can hear the waves crash as you fall asleep each night. The unit was very recently renovated. The kitchen is brand new as is all of the flooring, one of the baths and most of the furnishings. Each bedroom and the living room has high-definition with new flat-screen televisions. The living room has a DVR. Each television has at least a DVD player and two also offer VCR capabilities.There is a large wrap-around balcony off of the living room which affords world class views of Molokai, the beaches, the Bay Course, the Plantation Course, the Ritz-Carlton and the West Maui Mountains. We offer free long-distance calling (within the US) and also free wifi internet access.
It is perfectly situated within the resort. The walk to the Kapalua Beach is under 5 minutes. As well, you can easily walk to D.T. Fleming's beach, Napili Bay and Oneloa Bay. The Kapalua Resort offers a free shuttle throughout. The snorkeling and diving is superb.
For golf, the Kapalua Resort has two 18-hole courses. The world-famous Plantation is a challenge for even the best golfer and The Bay Course. The Plantation is the home of the SBS (formerly Mercedes Benz) Tournament of Champions and The Bay Course was the home of the Kapalua LPGA Classic. The Bay Course is not as challenging as The Plantation, but still offers a wide variety of shots and many gorgeous vistas. The Kapalua Golf Academy will give the avid golfer a chance to tune up their game.
The Kapalua Tennis Club is also a very short walk from our unit. There is a community pool available immediately outside and in the pool area are gas grills for cooking.
The Kapalua Resort has 100 miles of trails planned from the mountain ridge to the coastline for walking, hiking and horseback riding. You'll find trails for all hikers and they weave a diverse tapestry throughout the resort's land holdings. The Coastal Trail offers a unique chance to wander along the coast through different terrains. We think it is a great way to start a morning.
All in all, this offers a great value for a memorable vacation. Don't pay the high prices from the Kapalua Villas or other rental pools. This is the EXACT same type unit as they offer at a fraction of their charge. The unit will be clean when you arrive and cleaned when you leave. If you would like additional cleaning, it is available at an extra cost.
There is a reason why Kapalua is world famous. It is a gorgeous spot and one that all ages will enjoy.

Why the Owner Chose Ridge at Kapalua
We had visited Hawaii several times since 1982. Of all the wonderful Hawaiian resorts, Kapalua offered the best combination of fantastic snorkeling, safe and fun beaches, all levels of dining very close by, and world class golf at both the famous Plantation Course and the Bay Course (both are home to PGA or LPGA events). When we saw this particular unit, we had to get it. The views are unsurpassed, the location of the unit offers privacy not available elsewhere and the layout of this unit is perfect.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
I am an avid golfer, snorkeler and scuba diver. The bays at Kapalua are terrific for both. The resort offers two championship golf courses. The Plantation is home to the SBS (formerly Mercedes) Tournament of Champions and The Bay Course formerly hosted the Kapalua LPGA Classic. Also, Napili Bay is within a 2-minute drive or 5-minute walk. Kaanapali is about a 10-minute drive and Lahaina is 15 minutes. Between those places you can find all sorts of dining at all price points, types and qualities.

When I was married, my wife and I fell in love with this particular unit. We looked at many units in Kapalua and when we saw this one, we knew we had found our perfect match. Although we are no longer married, we share ownership and she is responsible for most of the lovely decor you will find. I think she's done a great job!
