Near one of the highest points in Brown County stands The HeartStone Cabin. This traditional log home is beautifully appointed and only 3 miles from Nashville, 20 miles from either Columbus or Bloomington IN. The home is spread over 3 levels allowing for privacy even with your friends and family in the house.
The master bedroom has it own balcony and fireplace. Overall the cabin has 3 bedrooms, 3 baths, 3 fireplaces, recreation room and a full kitchen, living and dining areas. You will sleep comfortably in 2 king beds, 1 queen or queen sleeper sofas. The hot tub is located on the 2nd floor deck with an absolutely spectacular view of the valley below. There is a pool table, ping pong table and surround sound system in the lower level. Each bedroom has its own cable TV. We provide all bed linens, towels, cooking utensils and appliances. This is a very private location yet convenient to all of Brown County.

Year Purchased: 2004
Nancy & Doug started Moondance Vacation Homes in 2001. Our idea was to build and maintain homes that would meet the same quality standards we have when we travel. As executives for many years and traveling around the world we understand how important it is to have a “no surprise” stay and to have owners who can quickly take care of your needs. Opening our first home in 2002 we now operate 10 homes offering a variety of sizes and locations all in the Brown County IN area.
Why the Owner Chose Nashville
We purchased the property we personally live on in 1988. We fell in love with the area and the people so we built a vacation home for our personal use in 1992 and then as the fates would have it we were able to relocate to Brown County in 1995 after spending 20 years in Minnesota. When a career change occurred for Doug in 2001 we decided we wanted to stay in this beautiful area so we started Moondance Vacation Homes.
