Year Purchased: 2006
Our family lives in Southern California, but we love to vacation in Arizona. We have always enjoyed water sports of all kinds and fell in love with the Colorado River, Lake Havasu, and Lake Mohave. The combination of the desert climate with the blue waters and skies just relaxes us completely as we take a break from our usually hectic lives. So it was no surprise when my husband and I decided to purchase a second home in Arizona!
Why the Owner Chose Bullhead City
We picked Bullhead City because of it's central location. We enjoy going there year round, there is always so much to do and see! We are right across the river from Laughlin, Nevada, and the kids love taking the water taxi over the river to walk around the casinos and shops. In the summer we spend a lot of time out on Lake Mohave and enjoy watching the 4th of July fireworks over the Colorado river. And we are only about an hour away from Las Vegas, the Hoover Dam, or even Lake Havasu. But, more importantly, we love the feel of our home and the surrounding area. We go there to just unplug and relax too!
