The house is located near the center of the picturesque Siasconset Village on the eastern end of Nantucket Island, MA. This convenient location is a short walk to the beach, market, post office, tennis courts and several great restaurants.
This beautifully appointed five bed room house is a wonderful year round get-away for one or two couples or a great gathering place for one or two families of up to ten people. The first floor has a private bedroom with a queen bed, a bedroom with bunk beds and a full bath. The second floor has a large bedroom with a queen bed, a large bedroom with two twin beds, a bedroom with bunk beds and a full bath.
Also on the first floor is a cozy living room with working fireplace, game table and TV with cable and DVD/VCR; a large dining room and well equipped kitchen with eating table.
The lower level has a play/art room with an art/project/game table and TV with cable and DVD/VCR. The washer and dryer, extra refrigerator, bikes and beach equipment are also located on the lower level, which has stairs to the out side for easy access.
There is a comfortable front porch with a swing, chairs and a small table. The house is surrounded by a large yard with plenty of room for outdoor games. There is an outdoor table and chairs and a gas barbeque grill for outdoor dining.
High-speed wireless internet is available throughout the house and yard.

Why the Owner Chose Siasconset
We rented many places before we fell in love with the village of Siasconset. It is beautiful and much more peaceful than than the busy town of Nantucket. You can easily walk to the beach, market, tennis, and great restaurants. There are great places to take walks and go for bike rides. There is an efficient shuttle bus between Siasconset, mid-island, town and other points of interest. There is lots for everyone to do whatever their age and interests.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our house is a cozy place to relax alone or with a few people off-season and a great place for families to get together with lots of kids in the summer. It is comfortable and efficient so you can easily feed a crowd. It is nicely decorated with interesting treasures from our travels so it is also a lovely venue for an evening with adult guests. There are bikes, toys, beach equipment and more...all you need to bring are you clothes for a great vacation.

We love to vacation near the shore because we love swimming, sailing and other kinds of boats. We also enjoy other outdoor activities like tennis, biking and hiking. At the end of a busy day we enjoy a good meal with family and friends at home or at a fun restaurant. We have lots of friends and family that enjoy vacationing together in the summer and other times of year.

My family has stayed in this wonderful Nantucket home a number of times and love it. It's in walking distance to the beach, wonderful restaurants, a cute market, and bike paths. We have visited in the summer and in the winter and each season has it's own special appeal. The house is comfortable, cozy, and welcoming. It is nicely furnished, clean, and well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a gas grill which we often used to grill local seafood. The house is located in Siasconset so it is not in the middle of all the hub-bub in the town of Nantucket, but it is easy to get to Nantucket by car or bus for shopping, eating out, or visiting the whaling museum. The owners clearly cherishes this home and enjoys sharing it with others. They were available for help when needed. I would highly recommend this charming vacation home to friends, relatives, or colleagues.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.
