Great Vacation House to share with 2 families!! Cost Savings don't have to mean you can't take a vacation. Get away to this beautifully furnished, ideal, spacious family vacation home located ten minutes from Seaside and ten minutes from Destin, the outlet malls, water parks, golf courses, restaurants, art galleries, fine dining, movie theaters etc. Free High Speed internet connection included.
Walker's Cottage is across the street from the fourth green of the Santa Rosa Golf Club and 150 yards or so from the Santa Rosa Beach Club, a short walk. It is also on an 18- mile jogging and bike path that will take you along the adorable beach communitiees of Seaside, Blue Mountain Beach, Dune Allen, Gulf Place, Watercolor and Grayton Beach.
Four bedroom, three and a half baths that has all the comforts of home at Walker's Cottage! Hardwood floors; fireplace. The living room is spacious, brightly decorated, and on the ground floor along with a well appointed eat-in kitchen complete with a stove and double oven. Five TVs, DVD,two VCRs (Cable TV), stereo with CD Player; chilled water cooler. The pool is located just steps out the back door. Easy beach access take a short stroll across the street to the beach boardwalk at 100 to 200 yards. Views of the Gulf and the Santa Rosa Golf Course .
Master bedroom has a king-size 4 poster rice bed with its own bath. Guestroom has a queen-size bed with its own bath and a game table for checkers etc. Both of these bedrooms are located on the second floor and are connected by a private adjoining balcony with views of the Gulf, pool, and golf course. There is a full-size washer and dryer.
Two additional spacious bedrooms each with two twin beds are located on the third floor and share a full-size bath between them. Their is an open deck off the den on the back with a charcoal grill overlooking the pool. Bike and walking path just outside the front door that goes around Allen Loop Road and entirely up and down all of 30-A.
Enjoy shops, restaurants, and activities at nearby Gulf Place. Ample parking.

* Please No Smoking and No Pets.
* Rates are negotiable depending on availability and time of the year requested.
* Summer Peak Season has to have a weekly rental other times a three night minimum is required. Sat-Sat rental.
* There is also a $130 standard cleaning fee.

We have been coming to the gulf for many years and love the sandy white beaches and teal blue water! This is a great place for families to vacation! Lots of space and close access to the beach and the pool is right behind our house!
The Unique Benefits at this Family Beach House
The bike path that goes all down 30 A is wonderful! You can run, walk and bike to areas like Seaside, Grayton Beach and Watercolor! My kids get on their bikes and I hardly see them once they take off!
Our house is 4 houses off the road across 30 A. 100 to 150 yards away from the beach. Easy 5 minute walk!
Gulf Place Shopping area; shops; Ms. Lucille's ice cream/coffee/cold drinks bar/restaurant.; clothes store; bicycle rental shop etc...
Local Tom Thumb walking distance away that has EVERYTHING!!! Good wine selection, donuts, milk, sunscreen, lotto tickets, gas, ice and lots of cold drinks!
This is the golf checkin shop and Pro shop. Clothes, good burgers and cold drinks!! Go play a round of golf on a great course! Open to the public!
Use this boardwalk access right by along side the Palms condo's to get to our beach! Plant your chairs, coolers and sand buckets and have some fun! Remember don't leave anything on the beach at night!

It has the Santa Rosa Beach Golf club for your golfers, Gulf Place is good for eateries and shopping, and since Dune Allen is at the west end of 30A it is close to the larger shopping venues in Sandestin and Destin. There are homes for rent at both ends of Allen Loop Drive (it loops around Oyster Lake and is on the bike path) with beach access at each end of the loop. I don't rent my own home but many on the street are rentals. One year we had a big reunion and my family overflowed to one of the rentals. It was really nice and quite affordable. It is called Walker Cottage. We had 3 couples and 4 kids there. Sorry I am in my Michigan home at the moment so can't run outside to see the names on all the other cottages or the rental agencies. In fact with our -25 wind chill today, I won't be running outside for much of anything. Maybe some lucky person who is actually down there now can add the names and realtors of some of the properties. I will be there in 2 wks so can check then if you are interested.
