A little late with the review but have thought often of our stay last summer. The photos are a good replica of what is available. The apartment was very comfortable, having a king sized bed and air conditioning available was a real plus. We loved the view of the harbor every morning. The owners were great hosts and provided valuable information. One of our favorite parts was the simple walk to the island and the private parking spot. This vacation goes down as an all time favorite and we hope to return in the near future. DebiDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

About the owner: We, Sherry and Ivan Rasmussen, have been involved the ARTs in Bar Harbor since the early 1970's. We own galleries and artist studios on the Bar Harbor Waterfront. Ivan, who was once Bar Harbor Harbormaster, has spent most of his life near the ocean in his native Oregon and now on Mount Desert Island which is home to Acadia National Park. Sherry traveled extensively as an international flight attendant. Though her travels took her to many beautiful destinations, she says that Acadia National Park is truly one of the world's treasures. The beauty of the island is what drew us to Bar Harbor. The magic of the island will captivate you as well. Ivan captures the beauty of the Acadia in his watercolors that he sells in his own and other galleries. We live right in the Village near our vacation rentals because Bar Harbor is one of Maine's most walkable communities. It is also a short walk or bike into the National Park. A free bus runs from mid-June to mid-October from the Village of Bar Harbor into Acadia National Park and to neighboring Villages. The Village of Bar Harbor is surrounded by Acadia National Park and the nearby Bar Island is just a short walk from your suite. Did you know the the 'bar' to Bar Island is the reason for the name of Bar Harbor? You can see Bar Island from your suite. We love to share our community and island with visitors from around the world. You check in for your week at our ART on West Gallery. We are there to get you started on a perfect vacation.
Why the Owner Chose Hulls Cove:
The best feature of the unit is the furnished covered private deck with waterview. You have so much room in the suite. For your convenience there is private, off street parking and the amenities of the world renowned Village of Bar Harbor are all walkable.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
Location, location, location. Your suite is located on the West Street Waterfront and close to Bar Harbor's most upscale hotels.
