Our condo is located directly on the beach with an EXCEPTIONAL view of the white sands, blue Gulf and immense sky. Our 6th floor location has a unique advantage-high enough for a gorgeous view of the beach, close enough to see dolphin swimming right from the balcony, plus no long elevator waits. (We chose this particular unit over many others )

We've updated our condo with contemporary, comfortable decor- Three flat screen TVs, DVD players in every bedroom, gorgeous granite counters in kitchen and new cabinets. Plus, we have a washer/dryer INSIDE the unit, not shared among the floors. We've stocked toys, games, and puzzles for kids.
Pelican Beach Resort is an upscale resort, ideally suited to families with a beautiful lagoon pool, kids pool, gulf front hot tub and an additional indoor/outdoor pool. We are on the beach- no streets to cross. There is an indoor heated pool, as well.
The property also boasts: beach service, huge sunning deck, exercise room, steam room, sauna, convenience store, delicatessen and a beachside bar. The property is close to many excellent restaurants via either a short walk or short drive, local attractions such as theme parks, mini golf and go-carts. The shopping is beyond belief with the USA's largest designer outlet mall only ten minutes away with other major shopping areas even closer.
This is truly a family destination resort with more than enough activities available to keep everyone entertained for a week or more. The Destin weather and the powdered sugar like sand will make for an excellent vacation experience!
Our snowbird and summer visitors request our unit, 614, year after year. We hope you'll join them.

We stayed at your condo from 6-4-11 to 6-11-11....it was awesome....the view was spectacular & the remodeling was very beautiful...The resort is very clean and the workers are very friendly...We enjoyed ourselves very much and we felt like we were at home...It was myself, my husband, our daughter (age 25), her boyfriend (age 23) and a cousin (age 24)..Your updates were great...We loved the double balconies over looking the pool and the ocean view...The rocking chairs was by far my favorite to sit in at night and in the morning...We will most definitely be back to stay in your condo...We have come to love the Destin area...Thanks again for letting us enjoy your beautiful condo.. We stayed at this condo during spring break 2011 and had a wonderful time. The condo is extremely nice, very clean, and has all the amenities of home. We felt comfortable from the second we walked in the door. We stayed there with our two teenage daughters and two friends - we had plenty of room. The ocean view is beautiful and we watched dolphins in the surf during the evenings. The owner was extremely helpful during the reservation process and check-in was easy. I highly recommend it for anyone and we will definitely be back next year.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, girls getaway.
