With spectacular views over the Caribbean/Atlantic oceans giving Tranquility its name, the villa enjoys the cooling breezes of the trade-winds. This not only makes it comfortable throughout the year but that rare location a mosquito free zone. Accessed by driving through the golf course, the villa and therefore its guests have membership of the St Lucia Golf Club providing unlimited, half-price golf on this championship course.
The main tourist area of Rodney Bay with supermarkets, shopping mall, marina and restaurants is only 10 min by car. Several beaches and a national trust park are located nearby together with a wide variety of sporting activities.
Situated in landscaped, tropical gardens cut from the natural St Lucian environment, the villa has 5500 sq ft of living space spread over three levels, each taking full advantage of the stunning, uninterrupted sea views.
The lower level pool deck has ample space for sun loungers in both sun and shade where guests can relax with a drink at the bar or on the in-pool seats. For the more energetic the 45 ft lap lane and the gym with rowing machine and fitness equipment provide the opportunity to get the heart rate up.
All main rooms are large, airy and finished to a high standard. Italian tiles throughout, kitchen units, closets and furniture handmade by the islands best carpenter and appliances, furnishings and furniture imported from Europe combine to give a feel of quality hard to find in the Caribbean.
The spacious lounge with ceiling fans, over sized sofas, TV and DVD player with DVD library, wireless broadband internet opens onto a deep terrace that runs the length of the villa and provides full-sun and shade areas at all times of day.
The kitchen with ceiling fan is fully equipped and there are a variety of formal and informal dining areas; the lounge, terraces and pool deck.
Villa Tranquillity has membership of the prestigious Saint Lucia Golf and Country Club which is 2 minutes drive away. This provides two guests with free rounds of golf ( cart hire applies for all members ) subsequent rounds are at a greatly discounted green fee rate. Golf clubs and shoes are available for hire. This outstanding 6771 yard par-71 course is set amongst the scenic rolling hills of Cap Estate and overlooks both the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. The course opened in 2001 and has since become one of the most demanding layouts in the Caribbean; the par-5 opening hole gets players' attention right away with a fairway guarded on the right by trees and on the left by bunkers. There is also a practice putting green and 350 yard driving range.
An impressive new US style clubhouse with pro-shop, bars, lounges including TV lounge, grill and restaurant was completed in April 2008 and where players can relax on a large terrace overlooking challenging par 3 18th.

We stayed at this villa for a week. It is a beautiful house with everything up to standard. Pros - the housekeeper was friendly and helpful with details - the driver was exceptional and easy to reach when needed - the management company was also very helpful and easy to reach - the kitchen is very good - very quiet and although you can see other villas you have privacy - bedroom AC works well Cons - the pool is not on the main level of the house, so to use it you must walk down side stairs - and you are asked to lock the house when you go down. - the road to the house is very narrow and rough - more of a steep trail than a road - you are warned by management not to go walking alone in daylight and not at all after dark - you can't really walk to any beaches if you wanted to anyway - dogs roam throughout the area Bottom line is that it was kind of like a beautiful prison :) It was luxurious but that aspect was tempered quite a bit for us by the requests that we conserve water, electricity, etc. and also that we didn't feel quite safe in the area.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Thank you for a thoroughly comfortable stay at Tranquility Villa. We were pleasantly surprised at the spacious, breezy, picturesque house on arrival - the pictures on the Internet definitely don’t do it justice. The decor is simple but perfect (everything matches!) the towels are the softest we have experienced, the kitchen is a joy to cook in, the pool (sometimes a bit brisk) makes anyone feel like they are in a Vogue magazine photo shoot, and the nights are cool and quiet. Special thanks to Diane, Donald our driver, Paula our house keeper and Mike our gardener for helping keep the villa look beautiful and feel like home. Some last minute tips - Chairman’s rum + Welch’s guava & pineapple juice + slice of pineapple = best drinks ever!! (even better than the “free” drinks at Sandals). Check your golf bags for geckos before flying home! Thanks again

Thank you for a great stay at Tranquility! My favorite time of the day was waking and having coffee on the deck and watching the ocean - what a great view!! The pool was also very refreshing after a morning of golf. We enjoyed cooking in your kitchen and eating on the deck but also had a few dinners out. I would certainly recommend this to friends.
