We had wonderful time this New Years Eve. Thank you Joan! for always answering all of our questions and for letting us stay in your beautiful home. This home had so much space for our extended family. We were 12 people ( 6 adults, 6 children) and never once felt like we were in need of space. Quite the opposite! The downstairs sleeping/ living area is expansive, as well as the tastefully decorated upstairs. Definitely a place where we could relax but still feel pampered. One thing that did not go unnoticed are the number of televisions the home has! Every upstairs and downstairs bedroom had it's own tv, plus the living room, and rec room ( great for the kids and parents looking for some quiet time after a day of snow tubing) We will definitely be returning to your home on our next trip to Albrightsville. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! This is an amazing house with so much to offer! We were a group of 12 and there was never a feeling of being crowded—We had all of our meals together in the dining area & the kitchen was well stocked. The bedding was very new and comfortable—The downstairs game/pub room was such a hit with everyone ... lost count of the pool and ping pong games that we played! This home was better than expected—I am hoping to stay again in the summer to enjoy the surrounding area lakes and trails and this beautiful home again! P.S.—The owners Joan and George are always available and very easy to work with. I was so impressed to have my deposit refunded within 2 days of returning home!!

This was a great home to use for our family vacation. We had plenty of room for my family and my sister's family and our mom. The kids had a blast with ping pong and pool, and hanging out in the basement as well as watching the deer and turkeys every morning and evening. We walked to the basketball/tennis court and the lake almost everyday. This house has the most well-stocked kitchen in any rental I've ever been in and everything was clean and in good repair (e.g. the appliances worked, all the windows had intact screens, etc) and the Weber gas grill was great. The location is close to Camel beach and Jim Thorpe and we also had some fun hikes in nearby Hickory Run State Park. We hope to get back to the area to explore other cool things such as paint ball, white water rafting and biking the Lehigh Gorge Trail. And Joan was as helpful and sweet as could be.

We had a great time at this house for our family vacation. We had a blast with our kids and grandkids. The game room kept everyone busy. The house has anything you would want, videos and DVD’s for the kids and family, pool table, ping pong. The grandkids looked forward to seeing the deer each evening and feeing them bread from the upper deck. The lake and pool were nice and close. There is plenty to do in the area. We went to a baseball game one night and to the water park for a day. Jim Thorpe is close and a nice little town for a stroll and a bite to eat. The house was immaculate when we got there and the owners were very nice people and very responsive to all of our questions and concerns during the rental process from the first email all the way through.

As you mentioned, the lake, pool,and clubhouse are very close. That was a priority for us when we were searching for a lot to build the house. I wanted to thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home! We had a wonderful time with perfect weather. The house was comfortable and easily accommodated everyone. The kids were thrilled having deer and wild turkeys in the yard. it was a perfect home base for all our adventures, such as fishing, bowling, water park, butterfly sanctuary, animal and snake farm, etc. The boys also thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the lake. Thank you again!

My family all got together for a ski weekend. The house was better than we had planned. The game room in the basement is wonderful. It was very clean, had everything we needed, and was not far from Big Boulder. Thank you Joan for everything. The house was everything we had hoped it would be.
