Come and enjoy the peacefulness and privacy of this one floor house located on the waterfront of Harpswell, Maine.
The house was designed with expansive windows in each of the rooms facing east to take in the day's first light over the ocean. The beach is one of the best in the area, pebbly and perfect for swimming, canoeing, and kayaking.
Great for walking and exploring. During the month of August, watch the yacht club races off shore from the beach or the deck. The ocean side deck is a relaxing spot for reading, cookouts, cocktails, meals outside, or just sitting.
Experience the best of two environments as there is a good sized yard on the other side of the house with woods and a small brook.
The patio is good for sitting with a good book or just watching the birds and listening to the brook. The yard is flat, plenty of room for games and activities.
The living room/dining room has large windows looking out onto the water. The large newly rebuilt fireplace takes the chill from later season evenings.
The kitchen is efficient with full size stove, refrigerator, microwave, and equipped with ample essentials. There is a bathroom as you enter the hall with a shower.
There are three recently repainted bedrooms, one with two twins, one with a queen, both having beautiful open views of the ocean. The master bedroom has a king size bed, attached bathroom with tub, washer and dryer.
Trash pick up and linens are provided for your convenience.
The house welcomes families and all who enjoy a comfortable, casual vacation by the ocean. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about the house or the town.
Harpswell has much to offer all ages including the Harpswell Festival in July, Bean Hole suppers, Shore Dinner in August, children's programs in July, Bowdoin Music festival, the Maine State Theatre.(Brunswick, walking trails, and much more.
