Looking for a place for a romantic getaway or a quiet wine country retreat?

Perfectly situated on a garden acre amongst vineyards off a country road in the "golden triangle' pinot grape growing region of Sonoma County, this "modern barn" was once a dance studio that has been transformed into a light-filled retreat surrounded by natural gardens.

Huge windows bring in views of open field, willows and pines, butterfly bushes, rosemary and lavender that surround this 700 square foot studio retreat.

You will be thrilled when you walk into this space and see the high ceilings with open beams, the soft lush colors and lovely furnishings. There is a completely new fully-equipped kitchen with stainless refrigerator, dishwasher and stove.

It is separated from the living space by a dining area where you can sit and enjoy a romantic meal looking out toward the vineyard behind. The comfortable persimmon-color L-shaped sofa is a great spot to relax and read or watch the flat-screen TV.

And a writing desk in the corner surrounded by windows makes a wonderful spot to write, or work - if you have to. The house is equipped with wireless internet access.

A private patio is a lovely spot to sit and breathe-in the gentle Sonoma sunrises, or to imbibe the local product on magical evenings. The studio is situated on the back of an acre on a quiet cul-de-sac.

In addition, there's a 2 bedroom/2 bath home at the front of the property - if you have a larger group or want more space it is available to rent. Each house has a private driveway and is private from the other.

Two wineries are in walking distance, dozens within a few minutes drive. Downtown Healdsburg is 15 minutes away down lovely country roads, the coast about 45 minutes, San Francisco an hour.

Wonderful restaurants in Graton, Sebastopol and Forestville are 5 to 10 minutes away.
